Is it impossible to 1v1 Udyr?

I mean I just played a game where he wasn't connected so I figured I'd steal his jungle. Then he connected cleared one camp he was level 2 and I was level 5 and he kicked my ass. Wtf?

no its not impossible but depending on your item progress and his item progress he could beat you with a significant level difference. also you should take into account a difference in health, and the champion you were jungleing as since I know udyr can outmatch certain jungles even if hes behind, finally did he catch you while you were trying to take his camps? if so you likely started running or (with your level advantage) allowed the monster camp to beat on you along with udyr which basically adds about 1 1/2 levels to him damage wise from the creeps

I had blue buff as Diana snuck up on him at Red smited and stole his red and fought him tooth and nail. I was level 5 and he was level 2. Complete and total bullshit

I was also at full health and he was at about 75%

udyr however also has a stun, attack speed buff, shield, and lifesteal all of which make him an extremely durable duelist

at level 2 he has a stun and attack speed while i have a level 3 sheild, slow, and a 3rd attack proc along with a spell

i agree its insane but in this instance you just got outmatched, its not impossible to beat him 1v1 hell I do it all the time as rengar and warwick, but in this instance you were just on the wrong side of the line when it came to being able to kill him its is however not impossible to 1v1 him

I don't mind helping you either, so just add me if you want a few 1v1 matches ^_^ I don't play him often so you'd fight my rengar and warwick till I got better with udyr

I don't actually believe this happened... I found one game with you vs udyr as diana and he was dced for a bit, but you went and 1v1ed him at lvl 3 he was lvl 2 and you beat him/made him run away(the replay is available on replay.gg).

After that you didn't fight again (i stopped watching because you were level 6 and he was level 4 and you still hadn't fought again, so after that it's definitely not what you were talking about)

So was there another game as diana jungle with udyr afk for the first bit and you tried to 1v1 but lost? Or were you just lying to begin with? I'm guessing it's the latter..
