I find myself accumulating useless charges on him which is a shame since that's a must build item for Galio.
It makes no sense they aren't triggered by them.
Or at least for clarity, don't call Galio's W a "shield" in it's text.

V001 votesI highly doubt it. His shield doesn't actually absorb any damage, it just gives the recipient some defensive stats so it doesn't trigger most things that occur on shielding a target. I agree that calling it a shield is very misleading and needs to be changed.

Both and Windspeakers say they are triggered by "shields", 's W says "shields a friendly champion"
I think it would make sense for them to be triggered by it, but if Riot considers they don't, at least they should change his W's text for clarity.

Galio SHIELDS a friendly champion for 4 seconds, increasing their Armor and Magic Resistance by 30 / 45 / 60 / 75 / 90. Each time the unit suffers damage, Galio is healed for 25 / 40 / 55 / 70 / 85 (+30% of ability power) (-20% healing for each consecutive hit).
At least they should change the wording for clarity.

So you are saying that when they say "Galio SHIELDS a friendly champion", they don't REALLY mean it?
If they use the same word in multiple instances of the game, they should mean the same thing.

Oh, yeah, we agree that it works that way, i just made the thread to purpose Riot to either make it proc them or change the text for clarity.
