Your worst role?

I'm pretty sure everyone has this one role that they just plain ol' suck at, or just not the best at doing a certain role. Last pick? Hope you're not forced to take place in that role. Even if you are equally skilled at all roles, there's gotta be that one role that you're not the best at.

As what the title says, which one is your worst? Or if you are a Jack-of-all-trades person, then which one are you least proficient at?

For me, it's top, because I've always hated the idea of being stuck on a stranded island where I'm forced to rely on only myself, especially since I'm more of the team player. Since toplane consists of frontline bruisers, a type of champs that I have trouble playing as, I can only stick to ranged toplaners so if I have to pick something to fit into a team comp... nope, not gonna work. When to even use teleport without killing my own tower due to neglect, or when should I use it if I am going to spiltpush or come to a teamfight? Too much risk involved. Just because I main Lulu support, that doesn't mean I know how to play Lulu top; I fucking suck at it. No matter what matchup it is, I will lose. Yes, even if I'm Teemo against Garen. I Garen-tee it.

What about you guys?

Jungle. Never, EVER make me jungle. Please, for the love of the team. I can farm or I can gank, but I can't do both. I either get caught in an endless cycle of ganks and end up underleveled and underbuilt, or I get caught up in farming and my team rages at me for never ganking. And then there's the counterjunglers. shudder I'm no duelist. Support for me, please.

My least favorite is support, but at least when I play support I win half the time. I'm a really terrible jungler, and I have no idea why. Even when I try-hard, playing meta champions with meta build paths, and have great stats at the end I STILL lose. Maybe I don't gank enough, or I gank the wrong lanes or something.

I'm like that with every other role. If I try-hard on any "carry" role using popular builds, I still end up with way more assists than kills, and usually more deaths than kills too. That's why I've stopped looking up builds. They apparently profit me nothing. ._.

P.S. If you're forced to top again, try AP Nasus. :) Rush a Tear or Chalice for mana and use your E to farm under your tower and harass the opponent. If he gets frustrated and dives you at 6, drop a Wither and ult, and he'll drop in three seconds. Late game, AP Nasus has unparalleled pushing power, especially if you get Nashor's Tooth, so even if you're behind on farm, you're likely to end up with the most CS in the game by the end.

It's a great pick for playing very safe and not exposing yourself to ganks or aggressive lane bullying, and it's generally what I always take when I go top. You don't even need your Q until level 9 at the lowest, but if you want to take it at level 2, it can't hurt to be stacking while you're dropping Spirit Fire all over the place.

Hm, that's some good enough advice for people who don't top.

Even though I can never get used to being THE melee champ where my autoattacks are very close-ranged.

Haha, if you can get used to relying on the E before the auto, it becomes a little easier. :D

From worst to best roles:

  1. Fighter. I can deal with fragile ranged champs, I can deal somewhat well with tanky melee champs...I just end up feeding as most fragile melee champs. Especially Riven.
  2. Tank. Same as Fighter, to a lesser extent. I end up feeding a lot as a Tank as well (especially with DrMundo), but being a bit more bulky lets me have enough time to deal some damage at least.
  3. Jungle. I'm still learning how to correctly do this role, like knowing instinctively which monsters to go after first and what times are good to Gank/counter-Gank. I don't necessarily feed at all, but I'm normally behind in terms of Level.
  4. Mage. While I'm good at Control, there's still a lot I need to learn. The only Mage I truly know how to play is Morgana, and I win most of my games when I Mid or Bot with her...but I need to expand.
  5. Marksman. I loooove playing as Marksman so much, especially Tristana and Ashe. I can even play Graves decently well. I'm still learning on when to go in or to retreat, though.
  6. Support. While Marksman is my favorite role, I'd have to say Support is the role I'm best at. My only Support I main is Soraka, but I'm also very good at Morgana Support. Still, I know some advanced things on how to Support, and I like to assist/push without getting to close to my enemies. I need to expand, but for now I know what to expect when I Support.
