Not sure why but yorick players always seem to put the circle around the opponent

Can't he just put it anywhere? If you don't put them inside it its a double wall which very few champs can actually hop and they will have to pay to do this in cooldowns. What's the duration on that thing anyways, its fucking stupid but luckily so are most of the people using it. So damn disruptive!

When I'm playing Yorick, I want to trap my opponent in the circle. This isn't always the smartest idea however and I probably waste a precious few seconds trying to get it right when I could have done something else.

You are right, most players I have seen do not seem to realize it's full power. Worse yet, teammates do not seem to understand it's full strength either, not realizing that even auto the enemy wastes on breaking that wall equates to that much damage reduced to a friendly player. It will be a long time before it's value ends up being compared to Trundle's pillar, and then people realize that the wall actually does as much or more by making them waste skills or time. . . Resources whose value cannot easily be gauged.

if you don't put them inside it, they can just...go around it

alternatively you can put it around your adc when they are getting dived by a melee

not if theres a chokepoint. If they could bypass the wall to begin with such as Ekko, nowhere you place it would help.

Well fortunately it can be destroyed with 2 auto attacks for most of the game and just 3 until level 18. Cause it's telegraphed it's pretty easy for a group to insta demolish in high elo teamfights.

Exactly. Trap people in a choke point instead of risking missing.
