I get you don't want to surrender
But pay a little attention to how games are this season and how they tend to play out.
No I'm not saying that you should surrender when it's 5/1 8 minutes in.
No I'm not saying you should surrender when it's 5/12 with a late scaling team.
What I am saying is if you're behind by a good 7k gold or more with 7 of your turrets down to the enemy's none down and your jungler has suicided to the midlane for the fourth time that match while refusing to ward his jungle and crying that nobody's helping him as the mega fed tank/bruiser/AD combo are barreling down your mid lane blowing up anything that stands in the way, then maybe consider changing that obnoxious "never surrender" stance of yours.
"People throw all the time" may be a true statement, but "possible" doesn't mean "probable", and even if 30 minutes later the enemy team has managed to throw the perfect lead, I could have quit that game, went on to the next game, and stomped that game in 15 minutes and been onto another one before trudging miserably through this god-forsaken early game scaling fuckfest we're in for half an hour hoping the enemy team continues to make enough mistakes - not that we'd be playing phenomenally, no, just that the enemy is literally handing us the game - in order to secure one lousy bloody win. Like, sorry, but I play this game to enjoy myself, not to stress the fuck out with a team I probably am not too happy with while I have to sit there knowing that I'm very possibly wasting my time on a "maybe" win that could at literally any moment turn into a loss in the blink of an eye.
When games tend to be decided relatively early, demanding people stick it out for that 30 minute mark doesn't exactly do wonders for the attitude of this community. There are some games that aren't salvageable - that may change next season, but for now, please stop making me have to bash my head on the keyboard after the nineteenth red flag that we may not be clicking well as a team.
