I never thought games could become even more snowbally...

... thank you Riot for proving me wrong once again.

I have been through the weirdness of season 2, the beginning of the assassin apocalypse in season 3, the hypersnowball-metas dominated by Katarina and Akali, and tons of other shit resulting from horrible design decisions, including Juggernauts and so many more failures. I have endured them all, because I had the faint hope that somehow you would get your shit togehter and fix stuff again.

But to be honest, this season I have lost all hope. At the same time games are as unfun as they have never been.

Sure, on a surface level they are fun and have strategic depth and all. But that is only enjoyable by a causal normal-player who doesn't really care if he wins or loses and has only a very surface-level understanding of the game. For all ranked players, every match has become torture. From champ select with toxic premades to the actual ingame problems. It's fun to win or lose an even game. It is not fun to get your teeth kicked in by the enemy team snowballing so hard you have zero chance of coming back with your own power unless they suddenly start acting like mentally challanged apes - and guess what, the likelyhood of that happening above silver is abyssimal.

And on a certain level you are completly aware of that. You know why people in Plat flame almost as much as bronzes? In bronze, the game goes shit, no one knows why and everyone gets aggro. However, an experienced player will know who is at fault for what. A game doesn't lose itself, and if that reason is not the enemy being bad but one or two teammates of you being total dumbfucks, you know that - and you also know that winning that game I barely not possible, unless you go through 30 minutes of stalling into lategame.

However, one would think those games are super rewarding when you win them, right? NOPE. THEY ARE NOT. I want to win because I am good, because of my skill. Not because the enemy has fucked up and thrown away an obvious lead.

Back in the day I told myself "meh, shit games happen, better luck in the next one I guess" but there must be something wrong when I'm saying this almost every single game now, sometimes even when I win.

Riot - Either fix your shit, or players are going to look for an new game to pass their time with. I heard Paragon is going really nice...

I'm really trying to give you guys a chance, but after more than five years I'm kinda at the end of my patience.

It's not RIOT's fault that some players are 0 / 5 / 0 in min 5.

Well, however it is their fault that this event causes the enemy team to become so strong that fighting back is almost impossible.

I'm not asking for making it so you can carry 1vs4. But four people should be able to carry at least one person as long as they play decent. However like this, you have just one person ruining everything and no matter what those four people gonna do, it will take a miracle to even win. That's how you breed a toxic atmosphere in a game btw...
