Personally, I don't think Devourer is too broken. Yeah, it and some of its most built on champs, could use tweaks, but I think Devourer brings a new light to the jungle and our interaction.

With Scuttle worth more stacks, grabbing those anytime are a must, for securing your junglers lead or denying the enemy. With counterjungling now becoming something worth doing, more people might learn to ward their own jungle to help against it.

Dragon now becomes much more pressured, if you see someone with a Devourer, especially someone like WW, you want to light that area up like the 4th of July.

Then there is the whole thing with lack of jungle pressure on lanes, etc. But yeah, I don't think its as Broken as people make it out to be.

If you look at all their common builds, BorK seems to be a core item, as much as it is on every other "problem" case devourer user.

Did I lose something? I'm a Zed main, and when I see this comments it's like you're saying I'm such "bad person" for main him? They're working on fix his bug, there's nothing we can do. Why we would complain? This game is amazing, but not perfect. I think they're doing their best to fix him.

I know Zed can be sometimes annoying because is extremly powerfull in 1vs1, however isn't like you can't counter him with QSS or Zhonya's.

I wonder that they don't play other champs because whenever the topic of Zed balance comes up, the same points are used every time, QSS and Zhonya's, etc., and these points were created without any comparison to how other champions perform in this game. Which is rather important in balance discussion because that "balance" refers to "balance (against other player characters)". You do it yourself with your list of weak points like this:

I understand. It's dificult to lane against him, but Zed has weak points:

Since he has a Energy Bar, means if he use his full combo, he won't be able to use his abilities for the next 4 or 5 seconds;
His Ulti got nerfed, so you got one second right after he ulti for you CC. After you CC him, you can run away or keep "in fight" because he won't stack his ulti that much, especially if he fails his Q and you can "punish" him;
Zhonya's & QSS;
If he fails the W + Q for harassment it's pretty bad, wich means or he fall back, or you can go all in and "punish" him.

I understand why people hate him, even tought he is my favourite champion, but isn't like he was no weak points. In my opinion, there are way worst champions to lane against.

wow if he uses his full combo he can't use abilities for 4 or 5 seconds? woweee that must be rough for him. meanwhile if any mage uses their full combo they have 10 second cooldowns for most abilities, AND run out of mana fairly quick.

Because we play Zed for our enjoyment.

He's not a great champion in this meta and overall has a shit ton of counters, despite what your silver game knowledge tells you.

Can Zed work? yes, will he be able to carry against a zhonyas, QSS, lulu, malphite and hecarim on the same team all by himself? fuck no.

I don't understand why people think that because tanks are like carries now (you need at least one, same for one adc and one burst carry. One support too) instead of being a complete option, that assassins aren't viable anymore.

I mean, I can see why some players would drop assassins, but from my PoV the current meta means assassins have two, maybe three priority targets and can't duel just anyone anymore. Same goes for certain types of champions, you wouldn't try to duel Zed as the adc without someone to protect you, considering it's his job to 100-0 you.

I'm not saying assassins as a whole became unviable because tanks, but Zed has a tougher time since he is fairly single-target oriented with regards to his ultimate, and the "tank meta" kinda discourages that, since everyone suddenly likes to wander in clumps.

I honestly didn't like the nerf to his R, even if he's frustrating. If anything, it could have been on his W so his R would be more useful for teamfights (get in, kill the carry, get out) in the current meta.

But right now he's still decent at catching people out if you're using wards. Delay the adc's late-game and all that. Split-push to bring pressure if people are gathered together elsewhere.

Well, compared to most assassins, Zed actually has less of a horrible time in the tank meta, and this is because of his optimal itemization.

Zed usually builds item 3153 which you may remember, is a nice counter against cinderhulks stacking HP because it's lifesteal also scales off the %HP you're shaving off tanks.

Then goes the item 3142 which, admittedly, doesn't work all that well on tanks, because flat penetration is more of a squishie-bursting stat, but I'f you're feeling ballsy and you're not being focused, you can turn on that active and along with your Bonus AD and botrk, shred a tank, It happens to me all the time as Cho.

Then goes the item 3035 , which while It's mean to amplify his huge base damages against squishies, really makes most of a tanks armor just go with the wind, a Zed hurts way more than a Talon or an Ekko does.

Yeah Zed having 15000 gold and being level 18 while everyone else in the game is level 6 and has 3000 gold, if they didn't miss a single CS, wasn't gamebreaking at all.
