The new Dragon needs a tad bit of balance.

Not trying to complain, but I lost 4 ranked games in a row due to the enemy jungler getting the first dragon. This literally causes them to win game under any circumstance, unless they get an afk, which makes it just about even.

Think about it, 8% of 40 is 5. That means if the ADC has 120 AD 10 minutes in with a dragon, they will have 135 AD, 15 AD over the other ADC.

8% of 320 is 40. If the mid laner has 320 AP, including a rabadons, then RIP game, that mid laner just got 375~ ap, which is 45 more than the other mid laner, making a huge difference.

It's all the matter of who can solo dragon now first. Please riot, revise this horrid new system which can infinitely snowball a game for the first team to gut their reptile.

Learn to math please.

8% of 40 is 3.2 and 8% bonus AD on top of 120 is 129.6. 8% of 320 is 25.6

tl;dr you're exaggerating numbers.

Like literally causes them to win? Like every time you die the death recap just says "dragon buff" 100% OP damage?

Assuming you are in a matchup with the potential to outplay, 40 ap is not going to make or break the lane. No doubt it makes the game harder to win (just as any other kind of advantage does) but it seems like hyperbole to pretend it is the sole reason you lose 4 games.

Yes it will because laning involves sustained farming most of the time. Guess what's hard with a stat disadvantage.

I would change the first dragon buff to increased regen (+25% of base) at the fountain.

I agree.

Um... can't the other team just get a drag kill to get the buff too, making both sides just do more damage? Or does the first drag give the 8% AD/AP buff to whichever team gets it, and the second drag of the game gives the next buff? In that case, I DO see the point in this complaint. If both teams can get the buff it seems pretty minor, as % based buffs don't get very strong until the later game when champs have bought a lot of the stat in question. I mean, no one complained that the +5% AP boost mastery broke mages or anything.

I do think its right in line with their idea of non comparable objectives though. The first dragon is a pretty big deal, so its probably a good idea to focus ward coverage or the crab. I've played a few games where our lanes weren't doing the best, but we had good vision from our support and jungler, and were able to take a few uncontested dragons, leading to the win. My point here being, yes the dragon buff is powerful, thats the point. Focus some attention on the objective earlier on in the game. Or push towers harder to get gold and make up the power difference in items.
