Zed should not be able to dumpster 80% of an APC's health without landing his Q
Does anyone actually think this is okay?
God fucking help you if you ever get hit by a shuriken post-6, even if Zed is behind.

How does he do that? His E does 65 / 90 / 115 / 140 / 165 (+ 80% bonus AD) damage. If that's 80% of your health idk what to say.
I mean, Zed is bullshit for mages to lane against but your hyperbole won't be taken seriously if you claim that he doesn't need to land Q at all.

By cancelling for two immediate autos (~270) + E + (~120) + Ignite (210) + ult (~135 + ~150) proc. Numbers are after armor. At level 8, most mids have 1000-1100 health.

So you let him all in you, got it

You can't stop a good all-in unless you have instant CC. If you think you can, you're playing against garbage and don't know how a good Zed does it.
Jk, I know you're playing against garbage. Tell me how you think a Zed all-ins you and how you stop it, so I can tell you why you're wrong. I already know what you're going to say, because most Zed players do the exact same thing.
p.s. I like how you changed from 'lol he cant' to 'oh, lol, I mean he can't if you never let him touch you, ever' when presented with numbers showing that it's very possible. Good post. Keep it up.

I told you he's bullshit but I had to point out how bad your post is.

I like how you're conveniently not answering, because you know that you have no idea what you're talking about.
I'll help educate you and everyone else reading, so you can maybe be at least a little bit educated about how the game works when you're not playing against Silver players.
Most Zed players pop everything, get into range with W, then ult you immediately. As Vel'koz, you pog flip him out of his ult, which generally stop his all-in.
Good players will pop Ghostblade and just right click you. You can't out-run him. If you throw a Q from max range, he'll just side step it and continue. If you throw it when he's too close to easily side step, he'll just W over it. If he W'd on top of you because you didn't throw a Q, you have to pog flip him or he'll just auto you to death. If he W'd close to you because you threw a Q, you still have to pog flip him because he's running at almost 500 MS with Ghostblade active. Regardless, as soon as you press E, he ults on top of you and you're fucked. You have nothing left but your W, which isn't going to do shit.
There's no possible outcome, barring a team mate being with you, that stops his all-in.

There's no good outcome here. At best, you hit him with a Q and a W, but it's never possible to land your E unless he's bad.
This is why I don't go near him after level 6 unless he's bad. I just roam.
Yes he's bullshit. You can't go within 1500 range of him as Vel'Koz. I get it.
Your OP is still fucking stupid.

So what you're saying is 'I agree that Zed should not be able to dumpster 80% of your health without landing a crucial part of his kit,' got it.

Not necessarily. He landed everything else, used his ghostblade, his ult, and he didn't kill you I assume. By doing that he opened himself up to your combo which apparently you missed. You could have traded for 80% of his health in that situation since you avoided Q. You could even turn that into a kill if he retreats and you ult him from far away after the trade.
But like I don't see a good Zed doing a risky all-in because he can just poke with WQ until you're low. He doesn't have to worry about mana, his poke is easy to land, hits really hard. That's the real bullshit imo.

You can get your passive to proc if you hold your Q until he's in your face, but that gives him an extra two autos and very likely kills you from 100%. A single combo with W + Q + W won't do shit to Zed's health bar, because the second part of both W isn't going to land.
Anyway, you're missing the entire point of this post, which is that he completely shits on you with limited/no counterplay without landing a major part of his kit. I'm not saying that Zed is doing this to you when you're at 100% health.

Not that I disagree with any part of your previous posts, but couldn't Vel'Koz stop his all in by dropping E behind him the moment Zed ults; then kiting away with Q/W? If I recall correctly, Death Mark forces you behind your target.
Obvious room for outplay on both sides of course depending on what each one uses (e.g: Zed either being forced to use W to get close or not, how good Vel'Koz is at timing Q to make it harder to side step, etc).

Read above. A bad Zed can be stopped with an E. A good Zed does not ult you until you E. If you don't E, he just autos you to death.

So you're saying that a good Zed should not be able to outplay you if you fuck up your CC, because Assassins shouldn't be able to punish you for your mistakes. K.
Idk how people do it, i feel like i do 0 damage in lane as Zed.
You could dodge his other abilities. Not to mention if you bully early with range and gain a lead, just keep on farming.
find a better blind pick champ
Did that
build
on top of
? ... cuz with that build he can easily 1 shot u with just 2 autos + E without the need to land anything else.
he should. Assassins are supposed to deal high damage.
RIght now, they are outdamaged by ADCs and that is NOT right!
