any chance you can make the ad scaling portion scale off total ad instead of bonus ad? i really dont understand why its so limited to ad assassins.

there are a bunch of bruisers who would love to pick it up, but usually dont stack enough ad to make it worthwile.

What AD Assassin uses Deathfire?

Seriously, I thought both Thunderlords and Stormraiders were much better than Deathfire for a burst Assassin

I'm not even sure which AD characters would prefer Deathfire over Fervor or Thunderlords (Jhin and Varus notwithstanding, but even most Varus players I see use Warlords). The only one I can maybe think of is Pantheon since Deathfire gives him more lane dominance, but it's not even that much better in lane than Thunderlords, and Thunderlords is much better for him mid-game.

the way it scales off bonus ad, its more useful on ad assassins who stack large amounts of flat ad, than on anybody else.

most of them probably dont want it, but it scales still in a way that it mostly benefits them.

as far as other champions who are using dft, i know illaoi takes the mastery, varus and jhin as you said.

but yea. the entire idea of making it scale off total ad would be to make the mastery decent on champions with large base ad scaling who buy little by way of ad items.
