How is a significant portion of bonus armor penetration and some AD useless on Tiger Stance Udyr?

Considering the enemy team had Mundo (health regen ultimate), Akali (healing from passive spellvamp and Hextect Gunblade), Soraka (self healing on Q), and Vayne (with Bloodthirster, Blade of the Ruined King, and Warlord's Bloodlust), Grievous Wounds would have been extremely useful.

Useless in the specific game he posted, in which Soraka was the only one with a bit of armor apart from Mundo.

Its a known fact that Mortal Reminder is a pretty bad item compared to any other AD item, so I dont think I really need to argue about that.. Udyr is 100% melee and he was overfed as fk with warrior+ trinity tiger Udyr. If he is able to apply grievous wounds with item 3033 , that guy is dead already anyway. So yeah... useless item, and Mundo is broken. Also dont act like 40% healing reduction on his ult makes him totally useless lol.

And?

Players will often have to build an MR item even if there is only one significant source of magic damage on the enemy team. This isn't really that different.

Sometimes you just have to itemize to deal with whatever enemy is causing you trouble even if it's not the most efficient choice against the rest of their team.

Grievous Wounds doesn't make Mundo useless, but it's ignorant to deny that reducing his his health regeneration by 40% makes him significantly easier to kill.

Yeah, it makes him go from "totally unkillable as long as you arent fed hard" to "maybe you can kill him 2v1." Idk why anyone would complain about Tahm while Mundo exists the way he does lol.

Dat moment when you completely misunderstand the message.

His MF did by the right items and they did otherwise shut down Mundo's would be rampage. This is to counter every body else complaining about Mundo while not building the right items.

I've kind of stopped playing sustain champions for the time being. It's only a matter of time before people realize how convenient an AD Grievous Wounds item with penetration is. Then every ADC and even some AD casters will likely build it, rendering sustain champions obsolete.

A lot of you are missing the point, the reason the game looks like a stomp is because we strategized to shut down Mundo early. I killed him in his jungle 3 times very early, and yet he still caught up. We managed to shut him down again with items. I'm just trying to show that he is obviously in a good spot right now, but you can handle him with the right item set.

By snowballing, which is the main thing about this patch, itemizing smartly is pretty much unnecessary. The gold you gain and experience is so stupid that you can get away with bad builds and still destroy your opponents just because you're so ahead.
