@RIOT: A teammate banned my declared champion (AGAIN)

This just happens to me often. (~10 times in 2 weeks) I am not playing Rengar/Camille/LB but Warwick (I main ww since s4), which is currently among the lowest winrate.

This is not the first time I post this, but nobody react, so I will continue until someone pays attention.

Quite often, one of my teammate ban my declared champion NOT INTENTIONALLY

They just ban whoever they want to ban, without considering the declared champion of their own team, because they are too lazy to have a look, which I can understand.

But come on, this is easy to fix: give players a warning when they are going to ban a champion that a teammate declared.

Each time this happens, I dodge, simply because I don't want to play while being tilted against a teammate.

This is an easy fix, please. At least, if you think this shouldn't be prevented, explain why not.

If they get a warning, but still ban the champion, I would understand (if you want to pick Camille in 7.1 / 7.2, I understand that a teammate ban her nevertheless)

Someone once banned my declared Lulu because "supp pls pick tanky or troll", then trolled the whole game because I chose to go Nami. It doesn't matter if the champion you're playing with makes you feel comfortable, they will always flame/ruin your games as long as you are not a meta sheep.

I'll put this here:

When a team mate bans your declared pick you should have a free dodge (Maybe with some CD between 2 consecutive free dodges or it might get exploited).

personally i prefered the old pick phase around season 4 which you had no information at al on both sides, heck even which role youre assigned to. This new pick phase which they introduced two years ago just causes really awkward times.

Are you complaining after the rework or before ? Coz maybe you werent high enough on your team to pick warwick and he is pretty good after rework

Stop declaring pick intent. That simple. No one bans ww outside of silver so you should be fine. Its the teemo syndrome, teemo is not normally banned, but he will get banned if they see him on the team just because they don't want him on the team and want a "better" pick.

Honest I do this whenever I see ezreal players myself. Sure ezreal the champion is good, but far too many times I see ULTRA pussyfied ezreals playing more far back than a cait and still manage to die 10+ times or E into an amu ult.

True: I am gold / plat and yes ww ban has decreased a lot, it is only 10% now, and decreasing. That wasn't really the point of the topic though.

I am against your proposal simply because the game already has too many nag screens. I think another nag screen is one too many.

I know what you mean bro, i've been trying to main WW ever since I saw his rework but he's constantly banned even if I declare I want to play him. My teams just like "nope fuck it" and he's instabanned. So annoying especially considering he's nowhere near as broken as the current meta champs (rengar,gangplank, darius etc.)

dw his ban rate is decreasing fast, it is similar to Yorick

here's the reaosn for such things. It takes little to no effort to check what your teammates prelock. There is no need for a warning.

I wish it would be the case, but sadly it is not =( But... I kinda have to agree, people should look and a warning could seem weird (too much / redundant info)

wanted to add this real quick:

What if you ban in the last second and the warning pops up? You technically banned a champion, but at the same time the system didn't let you.

(My understanding on how such a teampick ban prevention warning would work: Warning pops up--> 2 options: BAN and CANCEL)

uhm currently Warwick is banned not because he's good in the right hands but because he's SUPER BAD in the wrong hands... I wouldn't be surprised if people kept banning him even if a teammate declares it
