When you actually think about how large Ekkos kit is you realize how broken he is.

He has 3 slows, a stun, a movement speed buff, a massive shield, 2 flashes in 1 ability, a 3 hit massive damage passive, also blow 30% hp damage increase, a high damage ulti that heals him. What else did I forget? Its not even his damage that worries me because that can be nerfed, his kit is just like the Pringles of the league community its stuffed all the way to the lid.

When you actually think about how large Gangplanks kit is you realize how broken he is.

He has a perma slow, a DoT passive, a point and click nuke that applies on hit effects and slows and it can crit, a CC cleanse that works on anything and heals, permanent bonus ad and movement speed that can be activated to give everyone even more ad and movement speed, and a global massive damage and slow. Its not even his damage that worries me because that can be nerfed, his kit is just like the Pringles of the league community its stuffed all the way to the lid.

Otherwise, Ekko's W is extremely easy to avoid if you saw him use it (and even if you didn't you can just walk out of it before it appears), his Q can only hit the 1st part reliably unless you really messed up, his stun is easily dodged, his ultimate literally shows you exactly where it will appear making it easily dodgeable, and his passive requires you to hit something 3 times to work. His damage seems a bit overtuned right now, but he is otherwise pretty fine.

Chasing a GP that overextended doesn't result in 1k instant ult damage like Ekko would

I agree. nerf EKKO

buff Brand (for reals, not just fix something that should have been done at his creation)

Well they are putting the utility in "Utility Assassin"

His Abilities arn't really that OP Until you put everything together. But as a utility Assassin, they should target his numbers and not his kit. It's ok to have that much CC, what's not OK is having Zed and leblanc level pick potential on top of that.

The issue at hand is that Ekko is a "Utility Assassin" that has way too much of both. There isn't a balance between his utility and burst potential. Both are cranked up to 11 because of his scaling. He needs a hard numbers adjust to bring him in line, unless next season is planned to be a Michael Bay dose of explosions.

I eat Ekkos for breakfast. He has a lot of CC, but it's almost all slows. And his damage is really low unless he lands ult on you or you're almost dead. Build a little MR, dodge his W, don't stand next to his clone, and hit him with damage. Do this and you win.

Size of kit and relative power are different.

Ekko's problem is that while he has a lot of tools for outplay, he doesn't NEED to use them as much because of the raw numbers on his kit.

A champion such as Mordekaiser, who has REALLY basic abilities, needs high raw numbers to make up for having minimal alternative options from "Hit it hard." While champions with lots of tools, need to have more gated damage since if they get ahead they have an easier ability to force that advantage.
