Tips on how to carry from behind?

So I can't control how my teammates play, regardless of how many times I tell them "try not to 1v3," "don't overextend," "stay back and farm" etc. when they're falling REALLY behind in lane and, well, everywhere else too.

So how should I try and play in games where my team as a whole has fallen behind, but I specifically have a lead on my enemy laner?

Should I transition it into roams/ganks more frequently? Should I just AFK shove my lane and try split-to-win? Should I hoard all the resources to myself so I can get a considerable item lead, even if it comes at the cost of them just falling further behind?

Atm I build gold income items so I can share farm if I need to, specifically relic shield to share with anyone who roams or coin line so I can give away cannons/kills more safely. I need to do more, obviously, though, but as of now I'm not 100% certain, going forward, on how to improve my play.

Try grouping early in order to help your allies. I find that in many cases you can have a whole team lose laning phase and still win the game by grouping well and getting good picks.

It's as BroLane said try to group and make picks, but don't forget about objective control and warding.
