Luden's Echo, Greenfather's Gift, and a new Keystone Rune have something in common.

And that is, that there is one character in particular that makes all 3 of these really wonky to use, solely because while these abilities were meant for single target use, only one ability is able to simultaneously his every champion At the same time.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'm talking about Karthus and his ultimate: Requiem.

Yes, this has been discussed multiple times in the past, but however it initially procs due to Karthus's Ultimate doesn't matter right now, it's the fact that it is still confusing to know who exactly it hits. I'm asking if there's a better way to either let there be a CLEAR target to the proc of whatever's being used in conjunction with Karthus's Ult, or make it so that you can actually CHOOSE how it works (and NOT have it be some sort of Scoreboard Shenanigans if that even IS what happens. )

Now before I get into any more detail, I should probably include the (possibly leaked, haven't seen a Runes Reforged post about it lately) rune that has a similar effect to Luden's here:

>Meteor - Keystone - Sorcery

>Damaging a Champion with an Ability hurls a meteor at their location. If the Meteor hits them, it deals bonus damage (40 - 100 based on your level +0.2 AP and 0.2 bonus AD) Cooldown: 20 - 8 seconds

Source: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1tqTmBO4c7KYvoivlxb24n7QOgZ5AqeYYynZLgydY-WE/edit#gid=0 (the current page of revealed Runes shown in Runes reforged. I haven't seen the one regarding Meteor tho.)

From the looks of the description, it's going to look a lot like how Luden's / Greenfather's works. That being said, they both already work weird with Karthus and his ult since the aforementioned really only work as a single target sort of thing, whereas Karthus's ult, while considered Global, is considered AoE. I honestly could never figure out how it is considered AoE despite it targeting multiple targets. Is there like a giant invisible circle where the outermost champs are located and that's considered the Area of Effect? Or is the AoE the size of the entire map? I could never figure that out.

Anyway, all I'm asking is that since this rune marks the 3rd thing that has essentially the same type of targeting that gets screwed with Karthus's ult, can we please get a better way to know who's getting hit with the proc? As I said earlier, it's not about how it's currently being proc'd, it's about the fact that it's still confusing with the way it's being done.

It's classified as AoE if it hits multiple targets. They don't simply have a classification for multiple single target abilities in one ability.

ok

despite it targeting multiple targets.

Make up your mind, do you acknowledge that it hits multiple people, or do you not understand how it does? Aoe includes multi-target, which Karthus's r is. Jhin's q is a aoe, and it doesn't do damage in a circle on the ground. Same with Nami w too.

To be perfectly honest things like this should just proc all at once if you hit multiple people at the exact same time.

It proc's on the topmost enemy on the TAB listing. Learn to change it up to ensure killing low health targets.
