Changes To Triforce
I'm a bit concerned about the lack of crit chance and how it is going to effect champions like Udyr, Hecarim, Trundle, Wukong who now have no means of amplifying their autoattack damage outside of being able to proc sheen a few more times. The purpose of triforce was to take a little bit of every offensive stat and throw it into a single item, and now that identity is slowly being removed: first with the removal of AP because riot actually got the idiotic notion stuck in their brains that the stat somehow confused players, when it did no such thing AT ALL, and it was one of the best reasons to buy the item because it rounded off certain champions by giving them that small cherry on top.
Now we're seeing zeal removed which means less movement and zero crit chance in exchange for more movement speed: so Udyr will be able to proc phoenix more reliably, but his tiger stance is going straight down the shitter, because any AD champ that relies on attack speed is going to want to be able to crit once or twice during a fight, and the same goes for Trundle. Other champions like Wukong and Hecarim who are not entirely reliant on zeal but still benefit from it (Hecarim's passive), Wukong having stronger initiation outside of his clone and making it so his sustained damage doesn't fall off after his initial burst.
Triforce has gone from being a jack-of-all trades item that many attack speed and burst reliant bruisers can purchase to an item that only a few champions can now purchase and be fullyeffective with. I'm not saying all of the above champions will be made useless but in order to maintain their full damage potential, those bruisers are going to have to start playing squishier builds, which is going to put them at risk to late game scaling bruisers like coughJax-Ireliacough and get proceed to get shitted on, because one does true damage and another does mixed damage, making it extremely difficult to build against without a dedicated tank, which further undermines the other bruisers.
The item rapidly is a shadow of its former self and is now an item that caters as opposed to delivers on its promise. I really hope I get proven wrong though, and would love to see my beloved bruisers not into another pit where they're just not good enough.
