Make turrets do something.

They do litteraly nothing. If you had turrets that only attacked minions it would be the exact same as it is now.

They don’t target champions when they clearly should They don’t do any damage to champions They melt like butter They are just ambient gold right now.

I miss laser turrets ;~:

I miss them too, they could easily shred anyone , including tanks. They melt them after 3 seconds. But Hehe, with those laser turrets, we don't have an LC$ Flashy plays! :O

with LC$ around it wont

How turrets work:

''Oh there's an enemy attacking my champion! Wait... steady 2 more seconds till I fire! Oh nevermind, he already killed my brother and aggro is out. Damn it...''

I also want to know why Rift herald has a purpose of destroying towers like paper. 1 charge > 80% of tower health is down. And if team pushes, it can even destroy 3 turrets in a row. Insane play for LC$ right?

This would be so funny if it wasn't true.

What I love the most is the situation where someone that is already targetted flashes out at last second and turret just cancels that shot. Managed to do that myself, I flashed after I heard that sound and didn't get hit.

They should Crit first hit like stormrazor, with a ludens echo proc, and an electrocute on the 3rd hit.

I like this lol.

How about giving them urgot's passive and e. If you're being dived then you can run in a circle around the turret which would reward skillful play and let the turret shred tanks. Also, if the enemy angers the turret too much then it uproots itself from it's foundation, charges at them, and then flips them over itself to hinder their escape.

I wanna see the turrets sidestep the rift herald charge, maybe the turret shots should bounce around targets like fiddle crow

turrets need a buff. like so:

-ignores 50% armor (as oppose to 40%) -remove dmg cap (exceed 120% bonus dmg when consecutively hitting a champ) -extra durable armor (take 75% less dmg which then drops by 5% a minute down to 25% (50% for Inhib and Nexus turrets) after 10 minutes) -more sensitive to aggro (any sort of champion to champion dmg draws the turret) -if multiple enemy champions are attacking a nearby champion the turret either alternates between them or fires several shots at the same time to each enemy champion

Turret will target you if you deal even one point of dmg to enemy champion. They will target you even if enemy isnt in turret range but you are. Every DOT draws turret aggro (including red buff), Sunfire draws aggro... Every single dmg draws the turret.

Inkling Commando2 votes

not every point of dmg will draw it. i've gotten the killing shot on low health enemy champions many times after my teammate, who was targeted by the turret, weakened them and the turret never went after me.

Joe 2nd4 votes

Because turret was focused on your teammate, turret can't fire on 2 targets.

Zero Skill Tank1 votes

Every point of champion-sourced damage draws turret aggro.

The ONLY exception are Yorick's summons, because they are treated as minion damage. So if you draw minion aggro on yourself, ghouls will attack you with the rest of minions, but the tower will ignore it.

ive had situations where the enemy clearly should have drawn turret aggro and they didnt. they straight up dived, we fought for a couple of seconds under the turret and it kept hitting minions. and im talking about cases where the enemy doesnt have an ability to reset turret aggro, like elise.

it bugs out sometimes.

In fair fights one turret shot either way can change everything. Increased turret damage just promotes less interaction.

Next season they are increasing durability of towers which is all they need in my opinion

I love how my turret acts like a Bronze V player and focuses on slowly killing a minion wave while I'm being fucking dived.

Hah HAHHAHAHA

iv been asking for these things to get buffed for fucking months if not years now an riot just response toi it all with nerfs and if they DO buff turrets its like "oh okay heres 400 extra health an 5 armor gg your turrets are buffed"

i know that Azir can recreated turrets without the natural buffs. at the very least azir should be able to control that turret since it is his.

Lol Azir's tower also melts like butter, enemies even fight below since they absolutely deal no damage...

Inkling Commando1 votes

that why i said without the natural buffs. it does not get Dodge Piercing, does not get Warming Up, and does not get the Armor Piercing.

They already said that they're giving towers a fuck ton of health and more early game damage in pre-season 9. Wait it out

I thought LoL turrets were weak but I was playing Dota the other day and a bot dove me under my turret. I hit it with a five-second Malz ult (on a basic ability), and when the CC ended the bot continued to hit me until I died. Then it stood around to take a couple more turret hits, turned around, and left. That said, Dota turrets also seem to target you even when you're far away and there are minions in range, so they're not gonna go down early game.

Mecha Incognito1 votes

I'm fine with the damage they do early on. They don't (and shouldn't imo) scale to keep that same damage ratio throughout the game. I'm fine with their current durability, because it's far less fun being forced into a long game because superior macro play doesn't guarantee any objectives (Also, wave clear champs become a problem and extend games for far too long, without any fun on either side.)

I'm not fine with their targetting, it's been slowly getting worse for a while now. The worst offenders appear to be DoTs. I've notice that if someone applies a DoT, then walks out of range, and an ally attacks under tower, the tower can sometimes get confused - It's trying to target the source of the DoT, but can never find it.

The thigh guy2 votes

I disagree when it comes to turret damage.

A garen with a triforce and tabis should not be tanking both nexus turrets for half an hour while still one hitting your back line.

Mecha Incognito1 votes

Fair enough, but that's quite hyperbolic.

Though Garen is good at tower diving because of his W armour passive and the active, I wouldn't say that's down to towers as much as it is down to Garen's W being strong.

The thigh guy2 votes

The issue is it’s not just garen. So many champions have damage reductions built into their kits it’s not even funny, so to combat this they have a lot of champions more damage, which led to them instant killing people under their turrets from full health.

Mecha Incognito1 votes

I agree that damage reduction in kits can be a little silly, like Irelia's. And I'm personally much more up for less damage reduction on certain champions. But buffing towers simply punishes champions without those for playing a dive really well.

ZT Xperimentor1 votes

If they won't give them damage, they should apply grievous wounds or grounding. If they won't raise their defenses, then they should give them the recharging shield from seasons ago.
