Regarding the recent jungle changes.

So, from what I can see here riot is basically trying to do a few things.

  1. Leashing is to be no more. This means that most junglers will start red/blue or wolves/raptors, which is corroborated with the stat changes to the buffs, and the additional raptors, which in case of the raptors I imagine will either make the big raptor weaker or the small raptors weaker.

  2. Junglers as a whole miiiiiiiiiiight be a bit easier to balance, regarding clears and such. Since smite buffs got removed, the balance team wont have to worry about balancing those buffs around certain champions or vice versa.

  3. Jungling is now supposed to be more "interactive" due to the new plants. Tbh I can't really comment as to whether or not I believe this will actually accomplish anything, as I'm not familiar with spawn times/locations, though I can predict that the use of the vision plant and the healing plant will most likely hit a "standard" use pattern, with only the blasting plants actually providing some real interactive choice, and even then, only upon either invading or being invaded.

Thoughts?
