I'm actually glad jayce is getting high level play.
Maybe now his various bits of bullshit will get nerfed into the ground, and i'll never have to see him again.

Watching my teammates blindly picking "high skill champs" like Jayce and then autolosing because they don't know how to play the champion is a painful thing to deal with.
Jayce actually requires a lot to play well. Understanding the limit of pushing to harass in certain match ups. Your power spikes vs theirs. Itemization being one of the most diverse even when people thought Tear was a must on him because its not just end build that matters, but pathing as well. Also, unless you have near perfect ping, don't play him. You cannot expect to combo well if your ping is off even a little bit.
Only reason he's getting played is because of ghost blade and maw, the tear build has died away in favor of early game spikes in power.
Nerf those two items or make them melee only and it would solve a few problems within the game

ow lets give this give him knockback, a team speedboost, ranged AND melee, a max hp% finisher and mana return for playing the game.
More than likely he will just be forced to build tear and his previous buffs will be reverted/reduced. Which, as someone that plays jayce, I would be totally ok with.

I've played against him often before, and I honestly don't see the issue with him? I guess his numbers can be lowered, but being nerfed into the ground sounds like a silly overreaction.
Yeah. like what is this champions weakness? Get close to him he hits you away, play back he pokes you for like no mana cost
Fyi, good Jayces don't use Q very much at all during laning. It chews through your mana too fast.
You use the rest of his bullshit-tier low-cost kit that screws most melee champs that aren't Irelia.
