minion blocking needs to be fucking removed.
its a GARBAGE mechanic, period.

I do think pathing around large swaths of minions need to be fixed, and a big group of minions shouldn't really form an impassible wall.
if youre talking about skillshots being blocked by minions though, thats sorta necessary.
but then kass and fizz passive would be obsolete
Then change them.
Their passives aren't limited to just walking through minions.
Kass has 15% reduced magic dmg, and Fizz takes less dmg from minions.
It's the same case as removing the ghost effect from Hec's passive (which gutted hec top btw)
but then kass and fizz passive would be obsolete
why do fizz and kass have those passives but not other other melees? Fizz already his his fucking Q and E to get to targets and kass has a flash on a 1.7 sec CD.... as a matter a fact, those passives would be so much better on a melee that actually needs it like

, you know, the champs that DONT have 600000 dashes and jumps. and ya, im also talking about
. can dash through minions and rush PD and pass through units even further. its ridiculous when you really think about it. meanwhile im force to ult on
just to get passed a 500 acre long minion wall.
Yeah, it has no place in the game. It serves no purpose other than to frustrate.
It does though. It allows champs who use skillshots to actually be functional.
Maybe, but it also unfairly affects melee champions more than ranged ones. So for that reason alone, I wouldn't mind seeing it go.
Edit: I think I might have misunderstood you, and we might be talking about different things. Just to clarify, I totally agree that minions blocking skillshots should stay. What shouldn't is the B.S. amount of re-pathing it takes to get around just a couple minions as a melee champion.

ya, melees are the ones who get hurt the most by it. your champion just gets stuck and cant move or they go full retard and start doing back flips just trying to path around a group of minions. got stuck by my own minions fighting enemy minions for 5 seconds and ended up dying because even after i killed the enemy minions my own minions were still blocking me while they were atking tower. that mechanic really makes zero sense to be in the damn game aside from hard tilting someone.
To clarify what I mean:
Minion Block totally removed: Champions hide in their minions, champions chase each other through their minions, but most champions with skill shots have a hard time, since its so easy to maneuver in lane, and single-target skill shots are always blocked by minions.
Your Minions don't block you, but the enemy Minions do: Same problems as above, only melee and skill shot reliant champs suffer here. Why bother running from a melee champ, when you can just hide in your minions, and they can't reach you?
Except that Fizz doesn't have minion block as part of his passive and he isn't particularly hard to land skillshots on (apart from his little zhonyas). I don't think it would be that bad tbh.
Fizz is a melee assassin, with no skill-shots in his basic abilities. There is no reason for him to hide in his minions. Give someone like Xerath the ability to hide in his minions, and he will just sit there sniping you.
It does though. It allows champs who use skillshots to actually be functional.

There are 136 champions that exist in League. Do you really want me to list all of the ones that have skill shots as a primary source of damage?
losing top lane because your fat champions freaks out trying to pass through 4 minions walking forth and back spazzing it, the feels
As much as I hate minion block with a flaming hardon its needed. The reasoning behind its so needed is because Riot said that people can abuse to stand on creeps pretty much just denying farm from you which is really unfun to play against. I personally think that allied creeps should move out of my way better where I'm going.

its fine for small groups in lane phase, the problem comes in when you have a large clutter of minions on top of having a HUGE hitbox as the game drags on.
prime example. its near impossible to maneuver around them or go through them, so you are wasting abilities just to get rid of them and continue a team fight...
even if they never get rid of the mechanic there needs to be a mid-late game item for melee champions that lets you pass through units.
that being said, its still bad for range chamipions aswell which is why onclick champions like
or champions that have high mobility like
are so attractive. alot of ranged mages are very positional, so minion blocks effect them in a negative way too. Trying to run away from a

just to get betrayed by your own allied minions blocking your path.
Minions: "hmm, ori wants to run from that talon guys, should we move out the way? what do you think boss?"
"nah, let her die"
Minions: "oki!"
