maybe we can combine thornmail and sunfire cape

like make it about 60 armor, 3~400hp, and has the passive of sunfire and thornmail but nerfed version.

sunfire cape is weak for duels because of its low dmg, and useless against ranged champions, so it's kinda just for waveclear. adding thornmail effect to it will make it more useful in melee duels, has some effect against adc, and make it more competable against other items like deadman's plate and ramduin's omen.

while thornmail is only good for extreme armor stacking champions like malphite rammus and completely useless on other tanks who doesnt scale as well with armor. most tanks would rather get frozen heart/ ramduin's omen to counter ad, not thornmail. the stat it provides is just very linear when most other tank items provides armor+hp/mana. combining it with sunfire will make it seem to be more attractive.

My friend.. You've obviously never built a sunfire cape on shen/mundo(especially mundo) or shyvana(especially shyvana) and have just killed people by being near them :P

mundo and shyvana has built in aoe dot abilities, they can honestly kill the enemy without sunfire.

and with shwn tbh i never played new shen but old shen with sunfire is just for waveclear, with titanic hydra i never built sunfire on shen again. sunfire's dmg is very very minor, without magic pen it barely do any dmg to champions, and tanks dont tend to often build magic pen.

Sunfire deals 43 magic damage per second Late game. That's 200+ per five seconds. Even if your target had 100 mr that's still atleast 20 per second or 100 per five seconds. That much damage for just standing in their team is insanely strong. Coupled with something like mundo or shyv. It's roughly half as strong as mundos burning agony at max rank. It's just a bit stronger than half of shyvana burnout damage. Mundo deals 475 damage per 5 with burning agony. Let's add 215 damage from sunfire cape to that. That's 690 damage per five seconds of being around mundo. Shyvana Burnout 70 per second and for this example we'll say it lasts 5 seconds (it can last longer or shorter) That's 350 damage from shyvana pluse the 215 damage from sunfire so 565 damage over five seconds.. just for a shyvana sitting on your face. To be honest I think that they're both substantial damage increases. :)

5 seconds are enough for late game shyvana and mundo to kill a carry already. instead of using the sunfire for extra dmg, it's much more ideal to get deadmans for mobility that allows you to get into the enemy team and ramduins which gives u better stats and the passive/active that allows you to survive and become sticky in the 5 seconds?

It's really not hard for a mundo or a shyvana to find their way on top of your face. While you kill them everything around you burns slowly. As I've said, to each their own but I'm gonna keep building it :)

is it really worth it to get sunfire for 1~200 extra magic dmg over 5 seconds when u might not even survive the duration/the fight is over and u cant repeat that for another 5 sec?

More than half of his hp? Sounds like he just ulted and is still sunfiring your team... XD Also keep in mind he has 4 teammates as well. Are you telling me you're all going to focus the mundo? Have fun getting blown up by the other four on mundos team. :P

u must never buy the last whisper grade demonik, god tear against mundo.

btw i said during his way to ur team he shouldve been hitted hard, so he will have to get out and wait for hp regen.

they already nerfed him once again as long as ur team has some decent dmg carry u should be fine.
