The natural talent mastery..

+2/+4/+6/+8/+10 AD and +3/+6/+9/+12/+15 ap at level 18.. which isn't even 1ad/ap per level.. I feel like 5 points in vamparism (+%2.0 lifesteal/spellvamp) is almost always better.. not sure if your hybrids like jax and akali prefer natural talent or not.. am I the only one who feels that it's too.. underwhelming?

i take natural talent on jax.because am using pretty much all of it in all my kit. its not a lot. idk honestly sometimes i pick the vampirism for early sustain.

I actually tend to take Natural Talent on AP mages like Lulu. On Lulu's case, she has low base AD and her Q is AoE. Her E is single-targeted but does low damage anyway. Both the lifesteal and spellvamp come in a very small amount anyway, and as small as Natural Talent's AD and AP are, they are better than the vampirism and lifesteal on Lulu. The AD because it allows Lulu to last hit a little better and harass better. The AP allows her to scale better... even though it is a very small amount, it is better than the wasted vampirism and lifesteal.

Not sure on other mages, but I also take Natural Talent on every AD champion, and also on Vladimir due to his natural sustain and the spellvamp having synergy with Q and helping to cover Vlad's early health costs.

The reason's I wouldn't take it on lulu is because I tend to go something like 0/18/12 on her. Maybe a more aggressive build would prefer 12/18/0.. Thunderlords gives her a crap ton of damage (as it does everyone at the moment) I like survivability a lot. I could see why the ferocity though, not my personal choice..be that as it may everyone is entitled to their own choices and opinions. That being said, I respect your choices in masteries.. I'm actually really glad that both of our choices are different, because that means diversity is slowly being pushed via masteries(hopefully the buffs to other keystones will cut down the frequency of thunderlord users).

I go 12/18/0 on her.

Even though it's disgusting to see everyone taking Thunderlord's Decree for every champion (even those that it wouldn't work well) some champions should actually use Thunderlord's Decree. Solo lane Lulu is one of them.

it sure feels bad, but honestly, 2% lifesteal isn't great either. If we asume you duel an 2k hp opponent to from fullhealth and all your damage applies full lifesteal, thats only 40 health gained.. you'd need to deal an total of 1000 damage per minion wave to match the feast materie, which is on a lower tier...

So yes, natural talent is underwhelming, but so are nearly all other low tier masteries.

I dislike taking it on champions with 0 ap scalings though.. I would much rather have the old seperate ap and ad masteries back. Edit: Also feast has a long cool down

It would be better if Riot created a two new tier 3 masteries on Ferocity, one of them replacing Natural Talent.

One of those masteries would increase a champion's bonus AD by a percentage.

The other would increase a champion's AP by a percentage.

AD caster assassins would take the % bonus AD because they would build mostly damage and would't auto-attack as much to allow them to take advantage of the lifesteal, so the bonus AD would be better.

Every AP champion would take the % bonus AP for a similar reason. They would build full AP, also most of them do not work well with spellvamp enough to allow them to take advantage of it.

ADCs would have to make a choice: More lifesteal (they actually auto-attack enough, and lifesteal helps them sustain in the early game) or more bonus AD (allows them to scale better into the lategame where they would already have enough lifesteal)

Every other champion would probably take Vampirism, given none of them would build enough AP or bonus AD to take advantage of the other masteries (even AD bruisers would prefer this, since most of them are early game focused, and they don't build enough AD to take advantage of the % bonus AD)

make it 3 AD at lvl 1 + 0.66 per level = 15 AD at lvl 18 5 AP at lvl 1 + 1.11 per level = 25 AP at lvl 18

the main problem is the lack of stats at the begging of the game. or even if they want to keep the lvl18 stats as they are, they should give some starting ones for the mastery to be worth it.

Other options would be simply splitting Nanatural Talent into 2 masteries.
