Play lulu, there is no way u can miss ur polymorph or ur ult. Lulu is her hardest counter in lane and even in a team.

Then play fizz, Katarina will never out damage a fizz at any stage in the game. If she ult you then u just ult her and troll pole out. Also there is a reason why lulu was so heavily contested in a solo lane, lulu deals an absurd amount of damage in lane and late game you counter Katarina only source of damage, her ult. You don't lose as lulu against a Katarina, she literally counters everything about her. Not good enough for you? Play kassadin and blink away, not enough? Build a protobelt and dash the fuck away from her ult, even Leblanc will burst her down quicker than she will to you.

She has the 2nd lowest hp and hp regen of all champs.
She has been nerfed over and over again into a state where shes not seen in competitive play due to DFG, WHICH WAS REMOVED. She was given no buffs as compensation for an item she was balanced around.
Also, as a kat main: Get gud.
She has a 51.18% winrate with a 5.52% playrate and the playerbase having an average of 128.85 games played on her.
What does this mean? You're facing kat's like myself who have played her for a long time. At that point it isn't the champion, it's their skill with her.

Of all the assassins in League, I think Katarina is legitimately one of the most balanced.

She is everything Riot talks about with respect to balance; windows of power/opportunity, counterplay, risk/reward, etc. I actually hope they don't do much to her during the assassin update.
