Unthinkable combos: How does they work?

I've always wondered how certain things would play out in different situations..

Scenario 1- Kalista and Tahm How does Kalista Ulti work if Tahm has devoured Kalista?

Scenario 2- Volibear and Singed What happens if Volibear and Singed try tossing a champion at the same time in opposite directions?

Scenario 3- Mordekaiser and Yorick/ Ivern/ Annie Can Mordekaiser use his Ulti on Ulti summons? And if he can, does the summon become Mordekaiser's "child"?

Scenario 4- Maokai and Tahm What happens if Tahm Kench Ultis away just before Maokai's W hits him? Does Maokai chase him down lane?

Scenario 5- Tahm and Ryze If Tahm devours an enemy champion, is the enemy champion teleported by Ryze's Ulti too?

Scenario 6- Blitzcrank and "lock on dashes" If Blitzcrank pulls an enemy just before one of his allies lands an on-target dash, does the ally dash to Blitzcrank? (Alistar, Quinn, Thresh's 2nd Q, etc.)

How do these strange combos work?

He doesn't have to ult dragon. All he has to do is get 1 hit off on the dragon before the dragon gets killed & he automatically gains it. If he already has a champ possessed the dragon will replace that champ

  • Kalista can't act while devoured
  • The one that lands second will take precedence
  • No, only champions
  • No
  • Probably, but I don't know
  • The champions you listed will dash to where the champion was. Maokai, for example, will follow the champion over to Blitz

He cannot. He simply gets the dragon as a ghost if he damages it and his team kills it.

Scenario 1- Kalista and Tahm How does Kalista Ulti work if Tahm has devoured Kalista?

You can't cast spells from within Tahm so it won't work. However, Kalista can ult someone else, have Tahm devour her, and then the ally will be slung from within Tahm in the intended direction once the ability times out or Tahm spits Kalista out.

Scenario 2- Volibear and Singed What happens if Volibear and Singed try tossing a champion at the same time in opposite directions?

If I recall, they will both act on the enemy and since Singed's fling is further, they will go more towards Singed than Volibear. This is incredibly unlikely to happen though due to differing ranges and such. I have only seen this happen on YouTube and never in one of my games, so there is a chance I am wrong.

Scenario 3- Mordekaiser and Yorick/ Ivern/ Annie Can Mordekaiser use his Ulti on Ulti summons? And if he can, does the summon become Mordekaiser's "child"?

No. Only clones can be targeted, but, if I recall, you won't enslave them on death.

Scenario 4- Maokai and Tahm What happens if Tahm Kench Ultis away just before Maokai's W hits him? Does Maokai chase him down lane?

I'm not entirely sure, since Maokai was just updated, but I think Maokai won't follow them for extremely long range blink/teleport abilities. He will follow them for shorter range abilities however, like Tristana's jump.

Scenario 5- Tahm and Ryze If Tahm devours an enemy champion, is the enemy champion teleported by Ryze's Ulti too?

Yes.

Scenario 6- Blitzcrank and "lock on dashes" If Blitzcrank pulls an enemy just before one of his allies lands an on-target dash, does the ally dash to Blitzcrank? (Alistar, Quinn, Thresh's 2nd Q, etc.)

It depends on how the ability is coded. I believe most of them WILL follow the target, but I'm not sure on Alistar's since his is coded differently due to his Q interaction. It depends on the ability to be honest. Some do, some don't. I don't believe Pantheon and Fizz do, for example, but I know Quinn does and will curve to get to the champion.
