There have been mysterious reports of crime in the streets of Piltover. Crimes of burglary and robbery where the criminals are found, apprehended, a short distance from the scene. Whenever the sheriff arrived to arrest the detained burglars, a stray cat would greet her by rubbing itself affectionately along the sheriff's boots. The mystery surrounding these cases had always stumped the Sheriff of Piltover, and her only real lead was a strange cat.

Not long after Caitlyn left for the League of Legends the unknown vigilante stopped fighting crime, and the mysterious cat had disappeared altogether. Some began to speculate that the cat was involved and wanted to impress the Sheriff, and journeyed to find her once again.

Passive: Magic of the Seals

  • Claire's abilities summon seals. Seals are broken, and activated, when struck with Claire's basic attacks or other seal effects.
  • Claire's basic attacks against her Seals have increased range (kitty cat karate kicks!), and restore mana.
  • Seals are summoned in the air, like a window to a magic effect: breaking the window unleashes the magic. The magic of the Seal can be cast in one of two directions, depending on Claire's direction of attack, or direction of spell ability.

Q: Dizzy Seal

  • Claire summons a Green Star Seal facing target direction.
  • When Dizzy Seal is broken, a green star-shaped ray emits in a short line in the direction of attack. The green ray deals Magic Damage to enemies hit, and stuns them for a brief moment.
  • If the green ray hits another Seal the ray stops, and activates the new Seal.

W: Mizzy Seal

  • Claire summons a Purple Moon Seal facing target direction.
  • When Mizzy Seal is broken, a purple moon-shaped beam fires in the direction of attack. The purple beam deals Magic Damage to enemies hit, and increases the Movement Speed of allies hit.
  • If the purple beam hits another Seal the beam stops, and activates the new Seal.

E: Frizzy Seal

  • Claire summons a Blue Cloud Seal facing target direction, it can only be broken by a basic attack.
  • When Frizzy Seal is attacked, Claire jumps through the Seal and becomes invisible for a short duration. Claire is marked with a Blue Cloud as long as she remains invisible.
  • As Claire jumps through the Seal, it is broken and creates a shadow in an AOE that blinds enemy vision within and deals minor Magic Damage over time.
  • If Claire breaks a Seal while marked with a Blue Cloud, the Blue Cloud mark 's duration refreshes.
  • Attacking Seals does not disrupt invisibility.

Ultimate: Slizzy Seal

  • Claire summons a Yellow Triangle Seal, and becomes marked with a Yellow Triangle.
  • While marked with the Yellow Triangle, Claire's next basic attack against an enemy causes her to jump off her target. Claire can reactivate Ancient Seal while marked with the Yellow Triangle to teleport to the Seal, which breaks the Seal.
  • The Yellow Triangle mark is exchanged through basic attacks, which grant bonus Gold and grant immunity to the mark for a short time.
  • If Slizzy Seal is activated, marked Champion within range is teleported to the Seal's location.

I like the idea for seals. Cool concept! Is her basic attacks melee?

The concept is very interesting. I love the idea of a magic cat and the seals sounds interesting. I do have some ideas though, which may work if you're trying to make this champion play like an assassin.

  • Not really gameplay related, but the lore should be changed. With the Institue of War/League of Legends not being part of the lore, the current lore you've made doesn't make too much sense. Do like the idea of a magic, karate-kicking, crime-fighting cat though.

  • I feel the seals should get some changes, it doesn't seem too fair for a champion to spend mana on a spell and then get some back unless there's some criteria that must be achieved outside of just basic attacks (For example, Vel'Koz's Q restoring mana if you kill targets with it) I think the idea of attacking the seals should mostly be removed, to make gameplay feel smoother.

  • Change the Q to work differently. My idea was that the Q seal would activate when you attacked a target, and would fire out an AoE stun on top of wherever the target was standing when you attacked them. Works with the idea of going into close range, which you seem to be doing for this champion.

  • As for W, maybe if it worked on a delay of sorts, but did large damage. So you'd place down the seal to fire in a direction, and after a short delay it would fire. Would make the champion require some planning and it would go well with the Q stun.

  • The E changes I was thinking of could be that it would have a passive that gives you magic damage on autos. And when you attack it it will make you invisible for a short time, but when you're invisible your next attack has bonus range and magic damage. And the dash you perform when you attack the seal could let you leap over walls. But it would no longer have the cloud. This would give the champion a reliable way to sneak into a fight and assassinate a target. Giving them the combo of setting up W, going in with E, and then attacking a target with Q so they get stunned and hit with the W beam.

  • The ultimate seems rather interesting, and would work if the champion was a bit more of a tanky initiator. As I see it, it's a more interesting way of having Urgot's old ultimate. To go with the assassin idea, what if it was some sort of self-Tristana bomb which would explode after a short time, dealing magic damage to enemies around it? And by using seals at all (whether it be the initial cast of the ability or just using the seal itself, even for the W beam after you place down the seal) it would ramp up the damage and range of the spell, and when it detonates it would give a decaying speed buff. This gives the champion a reliable escape even after using E.

Those are just my thoughts. But looking at your post again after writing this whole thing I realize you were going for more of a support champion. Oops. Well, hope you liked my take on it anyways. Your idea is great, as I said, I just think using the seals could be smoother.
