Please let Miss Fortune's Q prioritize Champions

This ability feels really random, it's already tough to find an opportunity to land a critical ricochet especially if the opponent knows MF. And half the time when the opportunity does present itself, it just hits an F'ing minion.

Learn how to master her Q and how it works.

If her Q prioritized champions, it would be downright broken as opposed to how strong the ability already is in lane. Like, I main MF and I would be against this buff - it'd be so ridiculous to play against.

Harass with her E instead of her Q. Use Q as an AA reset to maximize your CS. Problem solved. Now you have a huge AOE harass that doesn't require planning and thinking and get more farm. Win win.

Dude what? Do you mean use the E to slow them so you can trade in your favor? Because E does barely any damage.

I really like the thought of the Q mechanic, but it just doesn't feel very fair to the player compared to how easy it is to avoid for the enemy.

Her highest winrate build right now has a Liandry's torment in it so that her E does tons of damage. Admittedly, it is kind of amusing seeing all ADC items and one AP but if you think about every bullet on E doing 6% of their health and every bullet on R doing 3%+ it makes sense.

If you start that and level E you can pretend MF is Morgana and AFK farm and harass eith E.

Jesus christ wtf

That build went off of champion.gg pretty quickly. It's Banshee's Veil now.

where is the build?

That data was taken from champion.gg, which actually stopped showing that build a few hours after that reddit posts. It's just Banshee's Veil now. It should also be noted that even when Liandry's was built as a last item, Q was still always maxed first. I don't think maxing E in lane for harass is really a thing.

Idk I played support for a MF last week who maxed it and built AP. She came back to lane with 1 itam at 6 and double killed their bot lane with just ER. Just because champion.gg favors the build with more gameplay doesn't change that it was (and probably still is) the highest winrate build.

That's not how champion.gg works. The Liandry's build had over 400 wins. It didn't get kicked out of the highest winrate spot for not having enough gameplay. It got kicked out for winning less. It's not the highest winrate build anymore. It's not terrible, but it's not the highest winrate option.

And I've supported for an AD karthus who maxed E about 6 months ago. We went 9/1 in lane. Just having one game where it works doesn't mean much. E maxing is easier to play against than Q maxing if you know how to play against it. I've played against MFs who have maxed E before, and they're much more vulnerable to being hit with an all-in or just to having their harassment dodged. It's not like it's incredibly bad, but it is pretty much always worse than maxing Q.

It should also be noted that part of why this worked for your MF was that she was building AP. That makes E maxing significantly better. AP MF can get away with it because E will do enough damage to clear waves. AD MF doesn't even have that advantage.

I mean, it wouldn't suprise me if 14 Reddit geniuses saw that build on champion.gg and went straight to ranked to try it out and lost with it because they didn't know how to play with it. 14 losses is all it would take to drop that winrate down to the traditional build's winrate at 319 games. No build works unless you know how to play to its advantages.

I think maxing Q first or E first are both viable. I max Q first personally. But if you aren't using Q well or successfully, maxing E first may be a better strategy. I've laned against miss fortunes that did not land a single Q. They would have been better off with E.

Her Q isnt random, it hits the CLOSEST target BEHIND the one you hit.

If Miss Fortune Q always prioritized enemy champions, she would be over the top. Her Q right now with a BF sword can chunk people for 1/3 of their health, being able to do that guaranteed (if not, you zone your opponents away from any CS) on a 3 second cooldown is too much for anyone to handle early game. Her Q isn't hard to hit anyways and It's more than rewarding with It's high damage, low cooldown, and low mana cost.
