To make it feel more like a "progression" item:
Cost: 2100 (from 3000) 40 AP (from 80) 225 hp (from 300) 300 mana (from 400)
16 stacks (from 10), 1 per minute. Each stack gives: 5 AP 21 mana 17 hp (numbers auto-round up when fully stacked)
The final numbers would be the same, but giving less initial stats and taking 6 more minutes to max out.
