Playing an immobile caster against Mordekaiser devolves into 'rush QSS or be removed from the game'

How did this even get released?

Even if he lands nothing, the positioning and size of the arena prevents him from being kited; once you're backed into the wall, there's nowhere you can move without him getting on top of you. He doesn't even need to land abilities, he can just run you down with his passive and auto you to death.

This is not healthy game design.

Somehow immobile casters have no CC whatsoever in their kits and somehow aren't going to have the range advantage over Morde. Also somehow you found yourself in a 1v1 scenario with a champion that doesn't want a 1v1 in most cases.

The range advantage doesn't matter. Once you get near a wall, there's nowhere you can move that will allow you to get around him without letting him refresh his passive. There isn't enough space to kite him after the first ~2 seconds of the ult.

It lasts 7 seconds. At best, you CC him for one of those seconds, and then you have the remaining 4-5 seconds of him autoing you to death while your abilities are on cooldown and you can't get away, not to mention the distance he gains on you while you sidestep his skill shots.

You've clearly never experienced this.

There is logic here...but it's presented very poorly.

They need to upgrade the size of the arena if they're going to allow him to steal such a massive amount of stats along with that 25% magic pen. The counterplay needs to be to simply run around in the zone until it times out. It feels far too small to do that with, particularly as an immobile caster, and especially in lane. I get that it's supposed to feel super cramped and hard to navigate in the jungle - I'm actually fine with it there. But in lane, it's nothing but you, him, and open space. Maybe a single bush. But you cant outmaneuver him at all
