There's absolutely no fucking reason for me to be consistently getting players in normals who try harder/are more skilled than those I get in ranked. It's sad that ranked has been allowed to reach this point.
What's being done to deal with this garbage wasting everyone's time? If someone wants to fuck around or try new champions and they queue for ranked, they should be punished. That shit belongs in normals.

Because season 4 balance changes made it impossible to carry games. I've been Diamond I/Diamond before there were divisions/Platinum before there was Diamond in every season since S1.
The game has devolved into crossing your fingers and hoping you have less chimpanzees on your team than the enemy does.

The Rain Man was the top of the ranked ladder too, then he dropped down to Plat for a long time because he refused to change his farm-a-lot play style. I'm pretty sure he's still only mid diamond last I checked. Funnily enough, he whines a lot about similar things.
Funny how plenty of LCS players (or Master players in general) make smurfs and they glide through the ranks straight to the top. Definitely luck.
