These jungle changes are going to kill many junglers

You just did changes for tanky junglers, who really have the hardest time in the jungle, usually with slow clears and low sustain. And before that with single target junglers who need gold for items and have pretty slow clears. All of this was basically put on a level playing field with the new ancient golem and lantern/feral flare.

now your going to get rid of them and the only jungle item will be machete and its smite changing upgrades (from their just straight stats for more gold.) Now while i like being able to use smite more strategically and even against other champs, this is going to make things impossible for some junglers. Don't even take into account that your going to make the jungle harder. Naut, Sej, Rammus, maybe even amumu will be out. Voli will struggle. Your basically taking a huge step back and going to S1.

Now while i'd love to get my warwick out again, the jungle items that have been shown at the moment are so lacking that they are going to kill all jungle diversity

That's the point. They said it was too easy for too many champions to jungle, so they're culling the pool by making the jungler harder to get through.

Yeah, but there's a difference between 'trimming down some of the niche junglers that branched out of lane into the jungle' and 'cutting down every tank jungler besides Amumu because they can't scale their clears'. Many tanks ONLY have a reasonable place in the jungle; if Naut or Sej or Rammus or whoever get nerfed out the jungle because of the lack of proper clearing potential, they don't have anywhere to go instead.

Riot's gotta be careful about these changes, and one of the potential problems would be pushing true tanks even further out of the game because they'll have nowhere to go if their clearing is nerfed while bruisers like Vi or J4 can still clear while building full tank.

Wont worry about jungle changes till they are put out in the game.

We might actually need to optimize to be able to jungle now. Currently I can jungle just fine with Master Yii running ZERO armor and not putting a single point into heal until lvl 13.

Well, they already worked the regen-while-fighting-monsters effect from quill coat into machete, so tanky junglers ought to be fine with sustain (although the mana regen took a big hit, they may have to adjust that). When it comes to the DoT aspect of quill coat that helps tanky junglers continue to be able to clear? Yeah, they're gonna have to do something to help that out, but it doesn't necessarily have to be on items. They very well could add that to a high-tier defense mastery, something that 21/9/0 junglers won't have access to but 9/21/0 or 0/21/9 junglers will reach; there's already the bladed armor mastery (as lousy as it currently is), they could easily rework that into a higher-tier mastery to replace quill coat's effect for tank junglers.
