So the rift herald changed to a giant zz'rot portal. You basically go to your lane and spawn it then run it down x lane and destroy wall the towers even faster. Since rito is basically accerlerating how fast you push with it, will splitpushers be meta picks.
LyingOnLine1 votesNo. It's a one-time thing used as either a way to force the enemy team elsewhere while you accomplish your goals or to group around and have a whole big siege/teamfight.
It will replace splitpushers entirely.
d4rkshock1 votesIn that time, it's still a free tower for your team. They are forced to all go top. That creates space either way. Splitpushers just accelerate the siege. It's hard to ignore yorick with maiden zz'rot, banner, and a herald. Not saying it will be meta. It would however be fun to watch.
Jbels1 votesIt's not like splitpushers aren't still in the game. Fiora, Ekko, even shen has a new korean build where he takes fervor and builds like a splitpushing duelist.
Erockandroll1 votesThe problem is, Because summoning the herald is effectively a single use, souped up version of portal. It's going to be more champion agnostic.
While it will inherently increase the split push potential of who ever gets it. I don't think it will inherently shape the meta champ.

etc while the rest of my team actually gets to move around the map, taking/fighting for objectives is not even close to being fun.

d4rkshock1 votesThey will send everyone top and your team can run down mid and destroy their t3 and possibly the inhibitor. Also do t spawn it until you shove into tower then spawn it to get it faster.
