I built 300 armor against a full ad team and died just as fast as my varus

Riot wtf. I thought these changes were going to help but it didn't do shit. There's still 3 champions on the enemy team building lethality and instant killing tanks. It is impossible to climb against this shit because it's in every game. There is nothing i can build to counter people building lethality. The game went from build and play well to just build lethality on full ad teams and it's a guaranteed win no matter what you're up against.

The most armor you've built in your recent matches is about 200. Maybe you had around 300 after factoring in base armor. You could have built a lot more if you wanted it.

You also went full damage tree masteries, and tried building your armor on someone who isn't even a tank.

Both bad moves if you are serious about being a damage sponge for your team.

Your Darius took twice as much damage as you did, got three times as many kills, and died 1 time less than you.

So it looks like you just played bad and used Vi in the wrong way. No amount of armor can make up for lack of skill.

I took CotC and regardless of how I played, miss fortune and talon shouldn't be doing half my health in damage with 2 abilities. I built armor directly to counter them and was still getting bursted. 3 armor items should be enough to prevent me from dying instantly.

It was more than two abilities. You're exaggerating, as most do in these cases. Talon needs at least two abilities and an auto attack to proc his big burst.

There is no way one of his abilities alone could have killed you unless you were already extremely low.

MF probably also gave you full stacks of -% damage from black cleaver with her ult probably before Talon went in. That's called teamwork.

Darius built less armor than you and you still died as much as him. Yet he got three times the kills as you and took twice as much damage.

He was also smart enough to take defensive masteries - you weren't.

Sounds like you just played bad.

Armor is not suppose to save you regardless of how poorly you play.

You admit that it was at least 2vs1. Who says you are entitled to win a 2vs1 fight?

Who knows how many were really firing at you in that fight. At this point I don't trust your ability to accurately report what happened.

Maybe the problem is you weren't using teamwork, because the enemy obviously was. Did you just think you could armor stack your way to victory without also out-thinking and outplaying your enemy?

Also, Talon can't do half your health with two abilities. MF only might if one of those abilities was the full duration of her ult, which is easily interruptible by Vi.

I really thought I took CotC which is probably part of the reason but MF still did take half my health with a double up auto and if you tell me how to post replays i will prove it.

After watching the replay slowly, when I walked into jungle, i had 3k health, lost about 400 from ivern and make it rain, and then she double up autoed me for around 1200. That's 300 away from half my health. This was also when I had finished randuins, iceborn, and deadman's.

lethality sucks against full armor builds though? im guessing you built item 3047 item 3110 item 3075 without any hp to back it up, rookie mistake/

to beat an "actual" full ad team your build needs to more like item 3143 item 3047 item 3742 item 3068 item 3109

or i built iceborn, randuins, deadmans, tabis, and banshee's veil so I had around 4k health with 300 armor.

banshees isnt going to do much against an ad comp and iceborn isnt very tanky at all. Trade those for a a sunfire and a kv and you wouldve sustained much longer

I'm also not sure why you're whining about lethality when only one person on the enemy team built more than one lethality item.

not sure why, lethality items dont stack.. that talon had 15 lethality

No, this is wrong. I have personally had 83 lethality on many occasions when playing Wukong while building full lethality.

Lethality items are unique passive with themselves, so you can't get two youmuu's for 40 lethality. But youmuu's, duskblade, and edge of night stack their lethality together.

I'm complaining because the champions that only had one lethality item were still destroying my health bar instantly.
