I don't understand, if we lose a game in our promos at 100 LP, we lose LP for when we get out of the promos. However, say you lose your first game of promos, then win the next two. The first game you win will put you back at 100 LP, but what about the second one? Why not add the LP you would of gained to the next tier and start you off there instead of at 0 LP?

Deaddorks21 votesSo like if you just ace your promos 2-0 or 3-0 you go in at like 20 lp to start? I mean theres the demotion protection which kinda is similar but I think thatd be nice for when youre on a winstreak to climb.

Eedat1 votesYou get a shield when you are freshly promoted for 3 losses at 0 LP. It can be more if your MMR is high. There's no need for more free LP after promotions. The LP loss in promos is necessary or else you would lose your promos but still be at 100 LP and be put immediately back in them. It's also band-aided with a free win in your promos upon reaching them a second time.
