Why do assassins/stealth champs have so much survivability in their kits?

Maybe assassins wouldn't be such a problem if it was actually possible to focus them down and kill them. Unfortunately, due to all the sh*t that's in their kits, this usually isn't possible.

Ahri-3 dashes and healing from her passive Akali-Free spell vamp, stealth, and 3 dashes Diana-Has a shield and a dash, but needs an enemy to use dash Evelynn-Stealth, can remove slows, and gains a huge shield from her ult Fizz-Ignores unit collision (minions won't help you when he tower dives), takes less damage from auto attacks, has a dash, he has an untarget ability, and a slow (possibly the most loaded kit of any assassin) Katarina-Her shunpo is basically a Lee sin dash. She can jump to wards, allies, or enemies with it. And she also takes reduced damage after using it. She also gets free movement speed from her 'q' if she hits an enemy, which isn't very hard to do since it's a point and click ability. Kassadin-Reduced damage with passive and ignores unity collision, has an AOE slow, and a teleport on a short cooldown. Kha'zix-Has 2 slows (1 from his passive and 1 from his 'w'), his 'w' heals him, has a leap, and gets free movement speed when he ults.

I don't feel like listing every single assassin/stealth champ in this game. But from the ones I listed, you can see how easy it is for them to survive with their loaded kits.

As I understand it, their survivability has to be in their kits.

Because it sure as hell isn't in their stats.

Thank goodness you have a slow, and thank goodness you can dash to enemies with cutthroat.

Did you just seriously list the skills he has to blow to kill you as his escape? Did you read his passive and just dyslexia out Voracity?

Too bad you get completely obliterated afterwards. Too bad someone is smart enough to use item 3364 /item 2043 and then proceed to CC you to death.

You're seriously listing champions and abilities that are vital to their survival, and are trying to justify their state of being overloaded from what I can only guess is severe inexperience.

Good form, friend, good form.

An item does not justify a loaded kit. Pink wards are a check at best, and they are extremely easy to destroy with competent teams. And if you're facing a smart team (who's actually keeping track of enemy inventory and enemy location) you should know where the pink wards are. If you know where the pink is, either destroy it or don't fight there. And btw, all champs get wrecked by CC. This isn't something unique to assassins. On a final note, this isn't about Talon. This is about assassins in general.

You specifically mentioned Talon in your response to another person, so I'm pointing out the holes in your logic.

Second, Talon's kit is far from overloaded. He's easily punished and bullied during laning phase, and has to go completely all in to kill someone. The drawback of his ability to burst targets is his squishiness, and if you're too inept to capitalize on his weaknesses, then you have no business to come here and ask for an escalator when you're too lazy to walk up the stairs.

It's actually amusing how you're justifying your reasoning with a double standard. You're making everything sound one-sided, and completely ignoring the other aspect.

If you're facing a smart team that's tracking locations and items, would they not also track Talon's location? Would a support not have a pink ward or oracle's (or even the jungler/mid laner) prepared for his dive, knowing that is one of his few tactics in a teamfight scenario? Would their team not understand that Talon is going to try to assassinate someone, yet lacks the ability to get out safely without his stealth, therefore being on high alert to react to such an attempt?

You can't use the team coordination and intelligence argument for an assassin's team setting them up for success (odd how that works out isn't it?) without also using team coordination and intelligence to completely neuter an assassin's attempt at taking someone's life.

The point stands, an assassin almost requires a trump card to fall back on if their assassination attempt fails. Besides, what I can see as the core of your argument is revolving around solo queue.

News flash: solo queue sucks, and the vast majority of the people that play it do too.

And he can't make use of item 3157 I hate how Riot discriminates AD assassins by not adding a similar AD item. (ADC's would be op with it)

You spam Kayle all day long. Kayle, one of the biggest counters to almost all assassins, and you are QQing about them having too much survivability when you are playing a champion with one of the biggest cockblock abilities in the game???????????????????

WHAT?????

because they need something to fall back if they get behind otherwise they would be feast or famine champs and those types of champs are not healthy to the game. Also assassins need some way to actually be able to get to you that's why they have dashes

speed from her 'q' if she hits an enemy, which isn't very hard to do since it's a point and click ability.

W, not Q. This may sound nit picky but it is very important. You have to be in melee mode to get the speed boost. And it lasts what, 1.5 seconds? Same with the 15% damage reduction on her E?

When Katarina uses her E to get into your team she should be dead; assuming she is building full damage she's extremely squishy and her R requires her to stand still to get her resets. If you don't carry CC and/or don't walk out of the small range on her R, then you'll die and she will get a reset. Some champions require you to alter the way you teamfight and/or lane. Assassins are a prime example of that.

If Eve actually builds assassin (most don't), she gets blown up instantly if she makes the slightest mistake. A speed boost and huge-cooldown shield won't save her in most cases, especially if the enemy have CC.
