There's a reason why we shouldn't revert all tower changes to destroy this "clown fiesta bot" meta

Because then we're back to the boring ass "everyone lane swaps and one team smacks top turret, and the other smacks bottom turret, and no one interacts with each other until like 7 minutes into the game"

I'm all for destroying this dumbass meta, but simply reverting changes won't help because we'll go from one shit meta into the previous shit meta.

As a question, could we try reverting one of the tower changes? We have Tower FB, and we have bot tower being softer, both mostly to work this angle. But do we need both?

The reason is that without the softer bot towers, but with the added First Brick Gold, you'd simply still have laneswaps, but now people would preferably pick champions that race down towers even faster, further constricting the viable champion pool.

I only ever saw a single laneswap during those times. People wouldn't mind that shit reverted because lane swaps were a LCS thing.

Never seen any lane swaps while playing in Bronze... wonder why.?

I demand a tank instead of a carry then if I have to be down there. ADCs can go top and have at it with farms.

As an ADC main I don't mind this statement

"We"? The LCS is back at that meta. Who cares? I don't want my game to be changed for the sake of more excitement in LCS. That is actually a good time now to bring out two different clients. One for LCS with their own patches and one for the common player.

They won't even do that. It's something about "how people like to play the same game the pros play" or something

The fact that lane swaping had to become a challenge to the meta shows other problems in the game.

Riot treated symptoms instead of the root cause which is that there is no comparable objective like dragon on the top side early game. Rift Herald is not comparable to dragon.

Obviously, dragon still wasn't enough to stop the lane swaps. It didn't offer a good enough bonus early game to be worth contesting, either that, or it's difficult to contest dragon early.

Maybe they should have put the bounty gold on 1st drag instead.

I am saying that the 2 bot being the meta is unhealthy.

Well I don't know what to tell you about that one. The ADC support combo make the duo lane work, because ADC's don't need xp because their DPS is largely item focused, and the supports need neither the XP or gold.

I don't think the Jungle is big enough for a second jungler. Unless your saying the duo lane shouldn't always be bot lane. The problem in either case is, you would need champions that can handle the 1v2. But such champions would almost inherently drive a lane swap meta, because they can handle the 1v2.

You haven't thought this through have you?

Rift Herald being comparable to Drakes makes laneswapping more favourable. One of the costs of laneswapping is losing Drake control. If Rift Herald is equal to Drake then that is no longer a cost, therefore the cost for laneswapping is negligible to non existent.

Irelia Bot2 votes

That is intended.

Making it completely unkonwn where anyone is going resulting in the meta getting destroyed.

But it would be incomplete without some kind of real down side to duo lanes. So remove the shared EXP boost which is not found in many other moba. And then make support items boost exp based on nearby allies with a higher level.

I used to address problems like this by playing Dominion.

Sadly I can't do that anymore.

Nerf tp again and making leaving lanes acutally punishing and making jungler have less gold and xp. There is literally no reason why junglers can decide the game outcome in 5 minutes for 4 years in a row

Wouldn't lane swaps be a bit less common though because of the turret first blood? I don't think that was around when lane swaps were everywhere, and can't see LCS teams just opting to race for it every game if they reverted the bot lane turret strength.
