Because who cares about champions' themes right?

the recent spate of champion remakes seem really misguided. they're releasing so fast, I don't think that much thought is being put into it, either. changing unpopular characters isn't going to magically make them popular, especially when the characters are considered weak and receive remakes that makes them weaker or remove important strengths or other aspects. I really feel they just alienate the few fans of that champ that did exist while also removing flavor and variety from the game.

I believe the original Trundle was a more interesting character, the original Karma was more interesting. Soraka and Zilean were outright nerfed, and coupling a nerf with a remake is a great way to make someone who liked a champion never play that champion again. why bother learning to use something new that's less effective than what you had already learned to use previously?

Whoever is making the decisions as to what needs to be done and when is not doing a very good job. There's not enough consideration being made to the champ and it's fans. too much of it is targeting of younger and newer playerbase, but so much of what they do is so strange and just seems random.

They really should stop making champions and focus on reworking the ones they currently have.

Only exception is Ao Shin because goddamn it Riot haven't we waited long enough?
