I think Senna teaches us something valuable about attack frames

Senna's attack range is long. like....really long. But it's not problematic. CS-ing with her can be difficult to get used to at first, but its actually pretty straight forward once you get a game or two with her.

Why? Because her auto attacks are lasers, kinda like Vel-koz. We have a TON of champions that have, frankly, disgusting attack frames, but IMO it's not actually the slow attack animation that is the problem, it's the slow AF moving projectile that it produces.

Just like skill shots, auto attacks wait to impact their target to deal damage, but they are relatively slow moving, so if a target (like a minion) randomly changes direction (like a minion) this can cause the projectile to impact either much later or much earlier than the player intended, which can cause them to miss that CS. THATS the frustrating bit. It can also lead to some agonizing wait times for your auto attack to hit a target that is far away, or moving/dashing away from you. These precious half-seconds is time that they could be using pots, or getting close to their ADC for heal, or getting healed by their sup.

I'm not saying that all ranged champions with slow moving attack animations should get lasers to replace their projectiles, but maybe we can speed up their projectile speed? Or maybe give them an accelerating projectile that starts slow and gets faster so ,while not always the same, the impact point is more predicttable

Remember when Ryze was a little balanced because he had high early mana costs and his auto attack frames/projectile were fucking terrible like Vlad's?

Then they made it SUPER snappy, the projectile super fast, and made his kit more cancer than any other version of it.

someone should make a Karthus mid video of him only CSing with autos to prove this lol
