So, I picked up tahm a couple times after the changes to his shield and passive and such, and It felt bad to me and I got pooped on. I didn't even think about it though because I didn't really care at the time and figured I had just lost my touch with that champion.

Recently, I've been noticing that he hasn't been in a lot of my games, so I figured I'd look up and see if anyone was playing him. I went to the champ statistics on OP.GG and I cannot believe what I'm seeing.

43.11% winrate as support
46.22% winrate as top lane
48.89% winrate as jungler

I know winrates don't mean everything, but jesus christ... what happened? If you think winrates mean nothing, just pick him up and play him. It doesn't feel... right. HIS INTENDED POSITION NOW HAS A 43% WINRATE FFS.

Are there going to be any buffs for him? Or is he just going to rot down there forever?

I dont even care about his W. He has Tryndamere ult on a normal ability. Nuff said.

Tahm Kench is in a good spot right now, the only issue is that he requires communication and good timing with his W, it needs to be managed well. This is something that lower ELO players can't make use of.

EDIT: He also doesn't fit well in the meta because Ashe, Ezreal, Lucian and Cait are popular and can kite him extremely hard.

Literally nothing about his w was changed and his winrate plummeted. These statistics are from plat+ anyway.

You're missing the point.

His winrate is low because he doesn't fit with the meta right now and he is mostly only usable in this meta in a team.

Also I never stated his W was changed.

I know you didn't state that his w changed.

His w not changing is supporting my point; the rework gutted him.

So you say that his w management is what keeps his winrate low, along with communication and such. well, none of that was changed, and he had a decent winrate before the changes, so clearly the other changes nerfed him, yes? This is all logical, yeah?

Even if he doesn't fit the meta now, the meta pre-6.13 was not vastly different, and he was performing much better back then.

I think it is you who is missing the point.

No in a matter of a fact he was a little too strong before hand, he shouldn't be a good option in this meta but because he was strong he could cope.

Also please don't treat me like a kid/Talk down to me.

Actually; just watching the LPL, Tahm is REALLY strong against certain champions that are fitting the meta. I think he's termed " anti-meta. "

Ashe ulti? Tahm W.

A lot of champions that use their BIG CC's to start a teamfight Tahm just noms and saves.

Yes. We can also agree it's a good thing for game's overall health. He should get some buffs, but I can't really see what could be done to him to make him viable without becoming monstrosity he was not so long ago. Except for i.e. reducing CD on his ult, but I can already see TK's fanbase bitching about turning him into TP bot so...
