Reminder: Pantheon and Tryndamere are still in desperate need of a rework.

There isn't much to say here. Anyone who ever plays top lane ever knows exactly what will happen when facing these champions regardless of who you choose.

Pantheon: you will lose your lane. There is no stopping this, and he will have double your cs at the very least (even if he only has 40 at 10 minutes). If you somehow, miraculously don't lose lane, he basically autoloses the game for his team. So fun for everyone involved.

Tryndamere: he will only ever leave top to possibly get a rift herald. Even then, it's questionable. you will beat the shit out of him til level 6, and then you'll just farm until you group and he does not and pray your team can take turrets faster than he can. Bonus: your bot laners who never play top will see he's 0/2 and ignore he has 200 cs at 20 minutes. They'll try to stop him from taking your second turret and get dove and double killed.

Binary champions with no place in league of legends. Unfun to play as, against, with, etc. They need to be given fail conditions and loaded with strengths that can be played around.

And in case you're going to say, "oh no, you just got shit on by one 11!1!!," no, I actually just won a game against pantheon. I took ekko top into him and gave him 2 kills (when kha ganked him, not solo), but prevented him from dominating me. He had a 30 cs lead at 10 minutes, but because he was not super fed, he was basically useless against the rest of our team after lane. Felt shitty for both sides. The only reason he didn't take my tower was that my jungler WW ganked and held him off a few times.

pantheon only wins lane against things that aren't tanks, make top lane tanks actually viable and pantheon will once again leave the meta, tryndaqueer rewards good macro play so i don't really see anything wrong with him.

Unfun to play as, against, with, etc.

i mean who are you to say what people find fun to play?

For 2 weeks straight you guys have been nonstop complaining about them asking for Reworks, do you not understand that Riot is operwting on a schedule? They are currently updating Eve and Urgot, along woth 1-2 New champions, and then the balance team. But i guess instead of waiting, we should just ask Riot to drop everything wnd forget the game for a solid month or two so they can rework only those two champs.

Binary champions have to exist. Things like Annie, Garen, Tryndamere, Pantheon etc force you to get better at Macro play, you can't rely on awesome micro forever.

Sure these champs got issues but no-one is in more need of a rework than xin zhao: Super binary statcheck champ with only one basic ability that actually does anything not passively a point and click gapcloser. His ult is the only thing that offers a tiny bit of skill/mastery expression of the champ itself and even that is minimal. There are also a lot of champs that do the same thing he does only better , his visuals are outdated and his lore leaves a lot of roam for improvement.

Fiora is much worse in my opinion. Bullies you all lane phase very safely and doesn't fall off. Has one of the best and most efficient build paths right now. Splits just as well as Tryndamere and is much better in a teamfight.

Please don't I dont want riot to destroy even those champs with their idiotic reworks that doesnt make any fucking sense, or make them op as fuck. Just leave them as they are and nerf numbers TIP: i dont main any of them. I dont main anything actually

hotarse6/11/2017, 7:53:23 AM2 votes

Are you a Fiora main by any chance?

I will lose my lane to Pantheon?

Someone forward this to the LCS, they've been playing top wrong this whole time!!

Honestly though, Quinn has got to be the hardest counter Pantheon. She's got a blind, extra damage, Panth can't sneak up on her and assassinate.

And anybody who thinks Tryndamere is god level needs to stop insta-locking Yasuo Top. The best counter to Tryndamere has always been Teemo.

Seriously stop asking for the game to be tailored to your specific skill level.

you sound like you would rather play 100something variations of lee sin, in that case, if you really think binary champions shouldn't exist. Riot did an article on how binary kits are needed to overcome overloaded ones. Tryndamere needs his kit to be this binary to make his strengths come through. else, it would just hurt riot's idea of champion diversity. The last thing I want is for a character like tryndamere to be hellbent on a stupid "gimmick" that they thought would make it more "interesting" to play against. You also sound like you don't have much of an idea of the place of splitpushing in the game, either. I find binary champions playable when I'm on my shitty laptop where I can barely play someone like zed, as well as satisfying. Seeing 800+ damage crits consistently is satisfying, as well as healing off them. He's supposed to be "your worst nightmare" (as per quote), so no reason to hate on him for doing that and being "unfun" to play against.

he isn't even a tier 1 on the rework list, either. https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/yghB24Gs?comment=0004

Splitpushing isn't an issue. its a strategy. a feature.

Pantheon, on the other hand, fuck that guy.
