FTWolf7 votesLiterally the assassin rework was a total failure and trashed every assassin that didn't go in the jungle. i.e rangar kha zix. It literally accomplished nothing up until they buffed lethality and that was after a good amount of patches after the rework.

Lauchmelder3 votesAssassins need so much upfront burst that they are either broken beyond anything or worthless.
I call them a design failure. When assassins are "just" strong they are unfair to play against thanks to their burst, if they are weak it's not fair for the assassin player.
Joxcab1 votesThe only reason they need that much burst is because damage is too high for everyone including their targets. So if assassins don't kill someone in half a second, their targets will just burst kill them instead.
If overall damage was reduced everywhere, assassin burst could be lowered without gutting the assassin.
