... aaaaaand it's a champion shard. What am I even supposed to do with that? I own all the champs already.

I don't really care if stuff like that happens when you buy chests&keys in the store, but for stuff you worked hard to earn there should be a mechanism against getting the probably most useless thing ever...

Yeah Riot said they are going txo do something against that SOON (TM). But they said the same thing about SoloQ and well, we all know what happened to that right now, no?

Which is kind of weird because that problem was kind of obvious from the very start. League is not really a new game, there are MANY people who own 90-100% of the roster already. So if they haven't found a fix for this problem by the time they actually came up with this, I doubt they have any idea what to do now.

Just let me change blue essence into cosmetic essence - that'd be the easiest solution and everyone would be happy I guess...

You can actually get legacy skins. ive seen people claiming to get shit like championship riven and ive seen people get nightmare cho and traditional karma.

@OP You can re-roll champ shards into skin shards, cant you? If not, that sohuld be a simple change.

People claiming to have gotten championship Riven are lying, Championship Riven is limited and you can't get limited skins.

People claiming to have gotten championship Riven are lying, Championship Riven is limited and you can't get limited skins.

It was on PBE; iirc you could get any skin before it was fixed.

They almost certainly don't own the hextech annie skin, and rerolling 3 skins if you own all the other skins available from hextech crafting you'll be guaranteed to get hextech annie.

Out of the 4 chests I've opened so far (excluding the first free chest+key), 2 of them had a shen champ shard. I already own shen, and I don't really even play him. Meanwhile I maybe own half the champs, far from everything, and yet it still managed to land on the same champ twice which I already owned.

Oh well, free is free, and I guess 'soon' will come someday.

Nevermind the fact that the drop rate for key fragments gets worse and worse the more you get. I can't wait for the new month to start, I've got 3 boxes to open and I haven't gotten a key fragment in over 40 games.
