Why couldn't we just nerf Tryndamere instead of ruining warlord's bloodlust?

Tryndamere was the only champion this was broken on. He has access to free crit at level 1. Even Yasuo doesn't get this, unless he builds this. Why can't you just nerf Tryndamere instead of ruining EVERYTHING? Why is this so hard to do? Please tell me Riot.

because the mastery isnt just broken on tryn. but on marksmen aswell.

20% attack speed and 15% lifesteal against champions, when they crit on almost every auto attack lategame. the fuck. and if the other keystones arent buffed, fervor is next on the chopping block.

Until that day comes, I shall continue to use it on Xin Zhao and Shyvana with Devourer. Even if I build pure tank afterwards, it still gives me enough damage to stay relevant.

you should see devourer yi with fervor and rageblade. ouch.

...And rightfully so. Fervor is rather...broken. Should probably be lower to 10-50 bonus at max rank or so. Or even just 10-40, but work with Lifesteal? Or should it also be made to only stack on champion hits (both with AAs and spells, obviously with longer falloff time)?

The big problem of Warlord's was that it turned crit into a sustain stat IN THE LANING PHASE. Meaning, no crit-building champion needed to buy Lifesteal before the 4th to 5th item, which led to rather stupid builds to play against (item 3087 item 3094 , for example).

Actually all of the ferocity masteries are broken with certain champions including Deathfire touch with Malzahar and Brand, the only keystone I would bufff would be Strength of the ages (they shoudl remove the cap but reduce the amount of hp you win from camps to half so junglers don't abuse of it) Thunder lord Decree since even Ryze would rather just take death fire touch.

I say we nerf Trynd AND bloodlust

True balance

This is an absolutely stupid idea. I main tryndamere and to be perfectly honest he is not OP like people contently keep squealing about, tryndamere is a basic champion that uses basdic attacks to kill his targets, later game he does get 100% crit with high dmg and attack speed, but he is really only effective against players who decide to go all out AD. To stop a tryndamere all you gotta do is invest in a bit of armor, also Never stand there and just tank the shots from a tryndamere, your just killing yourself like a non tactical scrub.

i play tryndamere so i know how he works. I will give you all the secret to killing a tryndamere so you can all stop QQing like little babies.

tryndamere has high dmg, and an ullti that prevents his death for 5 sec. In a round you only got to do these 3 things to kill a tryndamere every time.

  1. Kite for once in your life, even if your a melee based champion. the less hits a tryndamere gets on you, the less his rage will be.

  2. Invest a bit into armor, if your just going AD your just asking to die in the first place.

  3. Always watch the tryndamere. once he uses his ultimate he screams and his character sort of arks his back looking like he is insain, once he does this he cannot die, but all you have to do then is toss some Dot/ignite on him while his hp is low. (make sure your kiting while he is in this mode) Once his ultimate wares off the DOT/ignite will kill him immediately. also note that after he uses this ultimate and you kited him, he cannot use this skill for a Long time. thats when he is most vulnerable. you can kill him easy now.

now that i gave you all the guide to kill a tryndamere you all need to stop your cry baby QQing about nerfing an already fine champion.

i have only been playing for about a month and i hve read up on alot of stuff about League. and the biggest thing i have found ( the biggest problem of all) is riot is really bad at balancing things, you cannot Buff the items, which makes all the champs stronger, then Nerf the champs right after... leave the champs the way they are, and balance your broken items/mysteries.

if riot keeps nerfing, nerfing, nerfing and more NERFING. every champion is going to wind up like poor warwick.

Warwick = a champion COMPLETELY neglected by riot, total piece of junk champion that's never going to get another update again. (they schedualed a rework for poor warwick but then canceled it back in 2013 - its almost 2016 now... so 3 years have gone by and he still has not been updated... and it SHOWS. that champion is junk.

Because Yas only needs 3300 gold to get it. And then he can solo Baron Nashor. Course Tynd can as well. They both have problems. Trynd needs a rework, and I don't know what to do with Yasuo but nerfing bloodlust was a start. Better than nerfing the champions, then the items/cause of the nerf, and not reverting the nerfed champions

Why can't we just REWORK Tryndamere and I don't think warlords bloodlust was gutted, but it was nerfed a bit and it needed to be, it wasn't only OP on Tryndamere

I don't think you understand what I'm saying. Tryndamere gets the benefits of this keystone mastery at level 1 (without buying anything). No one else has access to that kind of sustain (and crit chance) so early.

so? that doesn't make it any less broken on other champions, everyone who could built crit was willing to get some sort of crit after their first back and then proceed to never leave lane unless they needed to buy since they would always be at full HP no matter what the opponent did

Dude, even after someone bought their first crit item (unless your name is Yasuo), they still didn't have as much crit chance as Tryndamere at level 1 (35%). Since the mastery only heals you when you crit, Tryn was getting it (and will STILL get it) much more than adc's (again even after they buy their first item, unless your name is Yasuo). I admit Graves was probably a bit too strong after his rework, but the rest of the adc's were fine. How can you possibly tell me that adc's were as broken as Tryndamere, since he was (and still is) getting the heal way more often?

i could care less about how much crit Trynd has at lvl 1 or at lvl 18 or when he is in the moon. The mastery was broken on way many more champions than Trynd and you trying to deny it is just stupid

You realize this nerf changes absolutely nothing, right? Tryndamere is still getting the heal more than anyone else, due to the insane amount of free crit he gets.

StealWolverine1 votes

this change was a way bigger nerf to melee than it was to ranged champs. at this point trynd shouldnt even be grabbing this mastery. he dosent sit there and slowly whittle opponents down as much as he all ins and kills them. there are multiple other masteries that are better for this.

unless you for some reason are letting him whack you constantly then no, this patch he can just whack some minions and he will be fully healed, now he would need to actually hit YOU if he wants to heal

actually, with critical chance runes, yasuo can start off with crit chance

if they are like most of the other runes, combined with his passive, he could achieve 25% to 30% at startup, essentially the same as tryndamere without them

however, critical based champs would prefer to focus the critical damage runes more than likely
