When will you address Rakan's performance?

Rakan is performing worse than most other melee/engage supports, particularly in situations where he does not have the increased dash range on E for Xayah. He has been consistently and significantly underperforming in terms of survivability despite needing to dive onto the enemy on order to perform his role.

Riot, you mentioned after nerfing his shielding that you wanted him to be a flashy engager rather than a shield bot, but he lacks the durability or sustain (in terms of his passive cooldown) to compete in lanes especially dominated by high damage champions. I have noticed that his own shield takes far too long to activate after depleting, and often trying to use auto attacks to charge it is not even possible.

Ultimately, I guess I am just looking for some response as to when he will be looked at, as he is one of the most fun champions to play as a support but I always feel like Im putting my laning partner at a disadvantage when I play him.

I like his kit a lot and when things work well they go great, he does struggle at times thou T.T low damage ADC make him a sad panda,

His E range should be the same for other adcs too. But with Xayah he's pretty strong right now.

Just because you are good with a single champion doesnt mean you shouldnt be competitive with other champions.

Yeah, E range increase would propably make him viable.

If I may, why not have one of his E always be at max range for all champs and only both for Xayah. Put it on the Second cast if you want to be using it to escape after engages (my preference as it requires a bit more skill from the player) Or stick it on just First cast if you want him to be more protection oriented.

Doesn't help that Coin feels less valuable.
