The PBE says Lux's ult is getting a buff were the CD is going to be reduced by 30-50% if she kills someone with it.

Are you F'n kidding me! Her ult CD needs a MAJOR nerf, not a buff. Your balance team is honestly completely clueless when it comes to actual balance. That would make her ult CD about 15 seconds at max CDR. How can anyone think this is a good idea, especially considering she has one of the best ults in the game. It's like giving Vei'koz a 15 second CD on his ult.

Because she has a legendary skin now and it looks "cool" in LC$ to spam different colour lasers every 5 sec. Fuck their LC$ and their favoritism. This game is broken

The thing Riot is absolutely clueless about is that a balanced champion pool would make LCS games WAY more fun and exciting to watch.

I hardly watch LCS anymore now because every game has the same 15 champs played.

no, it doesnt. she doesnt need any nerfs right now, and a buff is overall justified. im not saying i agree with this buff in particular, but shes underperforming.

they should start with her shield instead. the ability doesnt do what its supposed to do even when it comes to supporting her team. the last change to her was supposed to reduce her self shielding and make it a better support ability. it wasnt successful, because now it feels like shit to use in either case.

youre also looking way too much at her ult cooldown in a vaccuum. she doesnt have a basic ability on a 3 second cooldown, that other artillery mages like Ziggs Xerath have. she has a tradeoff in that her other base cooldowns are much higher. thats why her ult gets to be on a shorter cooldown.

She has a 49% win rate with a 6% pick rate mid. That's very good for a highly picked champ since the majority of people playing her are obviously not mains. Lux can literally 100-0 you the moment she hits 6 if she lands her Q and has ignite with basically zero counterplay. And this is with nothing more than her starting items. Her snare, slow, and shield make her incredibly safe and her ult is on a 30 second CD at max rank with CDR. Imagine any other champion with a high damage AoE ult being able to do that, people would be demanding nerfs.
