3/5 players on my team are auto-filled, what the fuck is this and how is this considered okay?

I got mid, queued for mid/bottom. Jungle queued for jungle/top. Top auto-filled, queued for mid/support. Support auto-filled, queued for mid/jungle. ADC auto-filled, queued for mid/top

Everyone on this team could have gotten one of their desired roles, but instead, it gave three of them roles they didn't ask for.

Seriously, how fucked up does this system need to be for this to happen? Why is this buggy piece of shit even enabled in ranked?

EDIT: 4/5 of my games today have had at least two roles auto-filled. This is really fucked up.

EDIT: Just had another game where 3/5 players were auto-filled. I was given support and someone was auto-filled for mid, my main role.

EDIT: Now at 7/8 games today having at least two roles auto-filled on my team.

EDIT: 8/9 games. Top and middle are auto-filled, while middle is my main role and the auto-filled middle's main role is jungle, which I was given. This needs to be disabled, something is clearly wrong.

EDIT: 9/10 games. I'm queued middle/jungle, our jungle and support are both auto-filled.

This is one area where Auto Fill complaints are 100% justified. There's no reason why a second pass can't be done to check if a team could be given more preferable roles after deciding to match them together.

It´s a secret method to force people to communicate in pre-game chat. So that there is more team-cohesion from the start and as a whole the chances for 1v9 toxic mentalities appearing again will decrease. It may have backfired...

  2. Jungle probably got protected and got his primary
  3. Support autofill is obvious since mid and jungle got their primary and were probably protected

One out of supp, top and adc would be autofilled no matter what. Top could have gone support, adc top and support autofill top.

But my question is - did you talk to each other in chat? Did you trade?

But you don't know how many games the jungler played as autofill or his secondary, maybe it was his time to finally get the primary role he wants.

Things like this sometimes happen, yes, and they should look it up. And let me tell you, role picking was a lot worse.

Blame the mentality of this community, not the autofill. Everyone should know every role. :) Kids are acting like brats, thinking they could get away with knowing only 2 roles. Well I guess they can't. :)

Edit: Also, it's pretty damn sad plats can't play all the roles. I'd understand if it was bronze but platinum........ it's just sad. I guess we'll all finally see who's really good at the game and who's just good at one/two roles.

I am Bronze and can play any role. I main melee jg, mid, and jungle champs. I can play adc and support but they don't fit my playstyle, and I don't play these roles or find these roles enjoyable, so obviously I won't be as good in these roles as other roles. I'm pretty sure you have a role that your worse at then other roles. This is one of the reasons Riot made the pick your role system, so people could pick a role they enjoyed and was better at than other roles.

True, I am better at some roles than others. But I know them all good enough not to feed and be to able to help a team in any kind of way. I even give people my primary role and take a role I'm not great at - for the sake of winning and not having a kid throwing a tantrum. I know I'll do my best no matter what. :)

I'd actually think it MORE likely that plats can't play all the roles DECENTLY at their own level. It takes some skill to do that, and the more time you spend practicing mid mages the less time you spend on tank tops, (or ADC's or whatever).

Specialization pays off.

Whilst most bronzeplayers can play ANY role at a level that will keep them in bronze.

I understand that. But then "their own level" is too high for them. I think elo should be about your overall skill and not only about one role or champion. They are not true plat players if they can only play mid on plat level and the rest of it is feeding.

They should know most of the roles decently on gold/plat level if they wanna call themselves platinum players and insult bronze at every chance the get.

This is just my opinion of how I'd like for it to be.

Welcome to League of Autofill, where at least one person on your team is autofilled and will play their role poorly 9 times out of 10 just because they don't feel like playing that role or don't know how to well at the rank they play at and I don't blame them. It's a toxic system itself, ironic because Riot loves to promote love and positivity yet I don't think forcing people into a role they did not queue up for or wish to play is positive in my eyes.

U played 10 games? Even at an average of 36 minutes a peice thats around 6 hours of leauge not accounting for breaks
