To be clear, I liked it from day 1. But being able to hide pick intent from opponents, and change it during the selection process, really catapulted it imo. I truly love it now. This is the improvement we were always meant to have. Thanks, Rito!

ModKnightsKemplar1 votesWell, they could see who you were "hovering." I'm pretty sure that's fixed now, though... It's just that if you changed your mind last minute (to trade with someone, for instance), the enemy still knew what you originally had intended to play.

I suppose those people who always pick whatever they think is the most OP at the time will appreciate being able to pick it before their opponents, but people who just want to play their favourite champions whom they have the most skill with really don't care about being able to pick first.
Jsaden2 votesI love team builder, but this champ select consistently takes me a half hour to get into a game, I can't ever play anymore! I have an hour to play, but 20-40 min sits in q cuz ppl forget what they're doing.... I find this real annoying =\ just wanna play :(

Is it better to always force someone to play support when they don't want to? That's not really Riot's fault (expect they really need to make support more interesting/diverse/interactive, imo). There isn't an easy way to get 5 guys who want to play mid on the same team together and make it work. That's why the old champ select was so toxic.
Jsaden1 votesI always want support, doesn't seem to help :P, but idk, maybe they could make it so you have more than a few seconds to lock your choice in, especially for bans, or not kick all 10 ppl when someone forgets to right away. Maybe that wouldn't work so well, but I can't even play anymore, so I don't see how its very good now

The friend I play with the most gets support 80% of the time (it's his main), so I don't share that experience. If I did, I would agree that it was not awesome.
Nameless Voice1 votesI find that I get into games much faster if I re-queue. Sometimes the thing seems to get stuck and end up waiting for minutes, then if I abort and queue again I get a game almost immediately.
Of course, it's entirely possible that I would have got a game within seconds if I hadn't cancelled...
