That is how extreme the discrepancy in the value it offers for ranged champs over melee champs. And this isn't some new thing discovered, it was pointed out since day one of the patch notes of it's change. If it is viable for vayne to pull out in worlds play yet not jax for example the item is definitely way too good for ranged while being absolute shit for melee.
