Why Do You Ban Zed?

so i gain access to a much much wider pool of champions i can play in the mid lane without fear of becoming irrelevant and crippling my build path just to not feed my enemy laner.

just because of the sheer number of champions zed is a counterpick against.

No one trusts their mid laner not to feed him. He snowballs extremely hard and can just farm farm farm when he doesn't.

Because he's brokenly overpowered.

He's also faceroll easy, requiring zero skill to succeed with.

I don't. If they take Zed I go Mid with Shen or Cho and destroy him.

TBH there is nothing else to ban atm. I personally mostly ban Ezreal cause he is annoying both in your team or enemy team.

Because I'm tired of the matchup. I've done it enough times it's not rewarding to beat him, just frustrating to play against.

I don't care if Zed is balanced or not right now, I don't want to see him.

a) Because he is pretty broken b) Because he beats Fizz for being the most unfun champion to play against

The only time I actually ban Zed is when I'm playing Kindred mid. I'm a squishy low range marksman. You bet your ass I don't want the guy who excels at killing those facing me.

I usually have other stuff I find more annoying/unfun to play against

I used to ban zed because I thought he was broken, then I realized Gragas was even more op (In the jungle, obviously) so I started banning him instead.

If i play mid, it's because i become very limited in my champs. I can easily deal with him, but i don't like playing the likes of annie or malz every game, sometimes i wanna bring that veigar or orianan, and against zed, thats not a good idea. And even in a good matchup, his Q spam is just very annoying to face in lane.

If some one else is mid, you just cna't trust on him to not feed zed. The issue isn't that zed is overall to strong(at least not by much), but that in the games that he wins, he usually takes over the game completely and playing vs him becomes a chore. Zed in the opposing team basically means there is a 50% change that you won't enjoy your game.

Though thankfully zed usually gets banned anyway, so i can ban kindret, which is not only annoying to deal with but also balantly op.

Because he's very strong and very popular.

because even if you "win lane", he can always keep farming safely and stay even with you. and when teamfights break out he gets fed anyway because he instakills squishies and he's too slippery for solo players. aka you can never catch him

Unless you have targeted CC, locking Zed down long enough blast him to bits can be exceptionally difficult.

While most Zed's might not have the sort of reaction time to pull off any #LCSPLAYS, the simple threat of having to face that is enough for most people to simply ban him outright. As well he has pretty safe wave clear, and as an energy champ basically only has his time in lane dictated by how much health and how much gold he has.

Because I main Veigar . I almost always ban the popular champions who counter whoever I'm playing.

because i dont like laning against him, i hate his free poke/wave clear playstyle with good all in potential, so i ban him.

Seriously everyone is after zed they won't stop asking for nerfs until zed becomes a support champion with no damage abilities. It's quit annoying seeing everyone complaining.

Imo, this ban Zed wave is secretly outrage against QSS changes. Even some of players who ban Zed don't know it :P Before only mages hated Zed, now ADC has joined in too.
They should just revert QSS

zed don't ban he too cool also why people ban zed cuz they can't handle the shadow as zed says balance is weakness they rely too much on banning zed so they can have fairmatch
