Thoughts on surrendering interacting with the Leaver Buster system

I see the interaction between the two frustrating many people. When you vote to surrender because you either know you have to go or the game isn't enjoyable, it gets angering when your team doesn't. I believe the most prominent point is when two or more trolls on your team choose not to surrender and they make the game extremely not enjoyable. When they report you because they are trolls and you rage or simply say "no" to avoid raging and leave it gives a large chance of getting the into the LB queue. I just want to hear some thoughts on this so I know whether or not I'm alone.

I don't think it makes sense for an automated system to try detecting the motive for a "no" vote and changing it. That's going too far.

I just want Riot to make a blanket announcement that no, surrender does not lose you more IP or LP.

I think people just need a better perspective on surrendering. It's not just giving up a game because you think you lost, it's choosing to start a new game in hopes that it will be enjoyable, because the current one isn't.

If you start a game you should play to the end. I don't feel there's any excuse for surrendering. Just because you aren't having fun doesn't mean that the rest of your team automatically feels the same way.

And this is the other end of the argument which is completely justified. That's all I can say.

Just because you aren't having the most maximum fun possible doesn't mean that the 9 other people in the game aren't, so how about thinking about everyone involved instead of yourself.

If you quit playing at the end of laning phase and call for surrender because you aren't having fun (usually because you lost lane or some other stupid thing), you are acting selfish.

One of my Biggest Pet Peeves of this game is giving up because things could be better in the next game. The grass is always greener....

It does not. This is very clear on Riot's information pages as well as third party sites. It doesn't make you lose more LP (unless you are on tilt). IP gets increased after 25 minutes.
