Cant get, Riot doesnt watch game? With Ryze nerfs and rework nerfs Riven doesnt have true counters! Can we pls stop it, and do something with Riven?

Here are a few counters:

Darius: Stronger lane bully than Riven. Her late game might be a bit better, but if you can shut her down she'll never get there.

Heimerdinger: If she can't go in without taking tons of turret damage, she can't get fed. An all-in against Heimer is suicide.

Maokai: He's just good in general, but his kit makes him a particularly good Riven counter. Tankiness, passive sustain that is up more often the more abilities she uses (great against a manaless champion who spams abilities), decent damage and disengage from his Q (use it after her second Q cast to break her combo), CC and engage from W (when your jungler ganks, W onto Riven and Q her away from her tower when the snare ends), poke and mini-wards from E, and an ult that makes him hard to all-in (AOE damage reduction, followed by magic damage that also scales off of how much was prevented).

Darius eats riven for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Renek also does well against her.

On a side note heim destroys her. But not many of us play heim.

Lol? I'm Darius mainer in the past, and you're just not right. Have 700 games with Heimer in rankeds and I've met many Rivens. So pls, I know what I'm talking about.

The important question is have you ever played as Riven? You can't complain from only one side, because it could become blatantly obvious how to beat her if you took the time to try her out and find her weaknesses yourself.

I played, so I know what Riven is. Even while I was losing lanes vs champs like Vayne or Cass I still was able to beat them with Flash + Ignite + combo.

Then you are playing the matchup very badly. Just because you play the champion a lot doesn't mean you play them correctly.

Your words doesnt mean I play my champions incorrectly. Darius never was Riven's counter, it always was skill matchup, but Riven scales better and overall has better kit. Heimer will be simply oneshotted by Riven (same as Annie - boom and there is no Heimer anymore, and Zhonia wont help). Heimer can beat bad Riven, but he defently can't beat a good one.

9/10 I will always been riven as heimer. Max turrets and get a zhoyas and it is easy. I don't really play darius so I dont know anything about that. Garen and Olaf are also really good counters.

I've met maaaany Rivens as Heimer. It cant be easy, because Riven can easy dodge your stun (just Q on you and step back, so you'll waste it) and then dive you. If you press Zhonia, Riven will kill your turrets and then will kill you while you're alone.

If you are in 1 Q range of her you deserve to die. She should have to use the dash to get to you and at that point should be in all your turrets. Then you have an easy stun.

It can be easy. You just have to play smart and not let her get to you in the early levels.

I heard this thing many times.

However I think opposite - if Riven can't kill Heimer she deserves to die. Hydra, Hexdrinker, insane damage, 2 cc and shield vs just one Heimer stun (I think 2 cc > 1 cc, so Riven has more chances to outplay Heimer).

Many people think that Heimer is an OP because they have met him just once in a life, I can't agree, because as Heimer main I know how to ouplay him and know most counters for him.

He's getting raped by a Riven right now. I don't know how he managed to lose against a Riven with trundle, that Riven has a 49% win rate

uh, he's a hard core lane bully who craps on anyone without uber sustain to match his own. He is about as good a counter as you can get, especially since his ult counters her all in by stealing HP and a ton of resists.

Riven has shield not HP. So ult doesnt help. Sustain comes from AA while Riven keeps Trunlde in stunlock so he is not able to AA.

By not letting her disengage when her abilities are on cooldown? the only way trundle can lost this lane is by not fighting back and letting her disengage freely. You have a pillar to stop her when she's running away when her abilities are on cooldown.

Riven has unanswerable Q+Q+W+E combo and then she can walk away. If you'll try to follow her after it she'll turn back, finish her Q combo, AA and then she'll walk away again. Good Rivens can prolong their combos and use cds smart so you won't be able to fight them, because they always can have one or two skills without cs (thx to low cds + brutalizer cdr).

Dont forget that Pillar has longer cd than Riven's skills. So I can do this once, but while I dont have Pillar I can't do anything vs Riven.
